Weren't the BMM and the Dredge filled with repetitive encounters in narrow corridors? You're probably right about the sewers. I don't remember specific examples, but I found most of Arcanum's dungeons a slog to get through.

1. Not a mod per se, but I would like to have a FNV made with RDR2 production values
2. Skyrim but in Mount&Blade
3. VTMB in RedEngine(Cyberpunk 2077)
Ps. Aren’t there already VTM:Redemption mod for Skyrim(in early stages but still)?

Ore golems, Rock and Granite rats, Brute fangs...
All simple melee IIRC. Like >95% of enemies in Arcanum. This game required a lot more work than just more balancing of stats or slightly better AI. Enemies were for the most part boring and encounter design was almost non-existent for majority of the game.

Yeah.
The AI could've used some improvements.
Little to no enemies use spells, for example.

Sega SG-1000 version is uh ??? More like a spacecraft than the robot. And this is why I look at variant platforms. They all usually look different.

Coleco Zaxxon really needs more firepower. And here's the Coleco Super game version of zaxxon (not the same as Super zaxxon the dragon bot)

Nude mod for zaxxon. Just double its rocket launchers. Why doesn't it have two rockets? Bah! Now I have to watch a video.

Many classic genres untouched and now forgotten. Remember vehicular combat games for instance?

There is a mod team that is porting Jak 1-3 games from PS2 to PC. After they are done, they could go for Jak X Combat Racing since it uses the same engine and language. Then will just need to wait for another mod that would add ray tracing and upscaled car models.

Slighly offtopic but did you know someone was nostalgic enough for Jak 2 to be making a spiritual succesor to it?

There really should be some new vehicle combat games.
There is this cute little game made on GZDoom engine about riding a boat.

Nope, didn't think there was such a need. Between Ratchet and Jak series I played enough of these. Combat Racing games are rare though and Jak X was fun.

Enjoy the Revolution! Another revolution around the sun that is.
If someone could port Wizardry 1-3 to a newer engine like UE or Unity, and add an easy party transfer system that would be great. I guess the Digital Eclipse remake exists and ostensibly they will do 2-3 as well in the future. I still stand by the idea of a fan made port that is also open source so anything could be tweaked internally.

Bards Tale Trilogy: A mod to replace the redrawn portraits with those from the Amiga port.
Fallout 1/2: I have been playing through Underrail recently and love that games RPG systems. Fallout 1 and 2 with Underrails combat mechanics, action-point/movement-point, and character build options would be an interesting mess to play. I can't imagine it would work out great but it might be fun for a little bit.

There was a mod which allowed you to play Icewind Dale in the Temple of Elemental Evil Engine.

I do not know if it was fully completed.

Just the first chapter then it was abandoned.

Edit: someone should make a thread about cool mods that never materialized or only got halfway finished.

I don't really much care after all this time, but it was a big disappointment back then that the Return to Windspear mod for BG2 was never finished and released.
I really, really wanted that one to come out.
