By the way, what happened with the wounded enemy commander by the way? I assume she was dragged away with the survivors, but perhaps she was hit by a stray arrow and didn't make it, I don't know.
We can still summon a fancy Thunder Dragon ride and find out, right?
Unless they begin abandoning their injured by the roadside, you are rather confident that you can follow them if necessary.
They are not going to drop the commander, so I suppose they won't run far.

But that's only after we find Rin, dammit!

A. I'm not going to start this campaign raising some do-gooders. Maybe later.
B. Information seems fine.
C. They gave us the money. It's not cruel to take it. It's stupid to give it back.

Tsk-tsk-tsk.
No one is talking about giving the money back. :rpgcodex:

Also, this is a convoluted way of trolling the enemy, so I give it extra approval points.
I kind of like the trolling aspect. Flopping to 1C>B.

Though that might not be very honest, which could lead to trouble with them.

"The villagers and I have scrounged up whatever was not taken by the raiders"
Wait a second! They had the mind to take the loot with them? Shouldn't they have taken their comrades (if that), drop everything else and make a run for it, especially considering that they weren't raiders and weren't concerned with money in the first place?

Maybe the village elder is not being truthful here. :M

I have to say, Aria would be a perfect murdersis for Rin. Now, if only we can make our tsun-demon play nice with a human... Also,
“I owe you my life, sir! Just say the word,” replies Aria resolutely. “I’ll do anything!”
“Hm? I was not aware that I was holding them by force. Aria, Arlin, you are free to go.”

“I’m staying here, Master.”
We can get used to that.

No strong feelings on the first question.

On the second, I have to strongly voice my support for +1 titties!! +M
On the third, well, I can't be arsed with carrying all that loot home..

CAB blood lust and lust do go hand in hand and if we want to RP Rance this is the way to go. That priest fellow sounds interesting tough, might have the info we need.

A - We were raised by merchants. It's only fitting that we pass on such a noble tradition
C - The start of empire is forcing seperate peoples to tolerate one another enough to serve us sufficiently.
C - Our money. What would father think?

1B is I think the best option. Our character is a bit lazy and arbitrary to properly keep the charade in C running, and when we act in a way that clashes with this if they pick up on those ideals it will cause friction. A is a bit crass for my tastes. Option B is pragmatic and not really all that dickish, which I think is the direction I'd want to lead these kids on.

2C for me. We must weld the peoples of our future lands into a mighty state, so it would do us well to encourage this sort of friendliness between future subjects. There should be no issues from the goblin side if we tell them to be on their best behavior, considering our status among the gobos, we just need to be reasonably sure that the humans won't kill them off or harass them in the contact. It's also my hope that this would increase trade and so on between them, which might make both groups more prosperous and grateful to us for arranging this opportunity. Asking for their prettiest girl is just likely to cause some sort of friction without a further benefit beyond maybe getting laid, and while the information would be incredibly useful it's all stuff that we can probably figure out later (admittedly probably a few blunders in) while we can't really redo first impressions on them meeting up with the goblins so a first official meeting should be friendly.

Finally, 3B. We give them stuff that we couldn't bring along anyway and get some money that we can potentially directly use, they're happy to have approximately equivalent value gifts and we don't reject their generosity.

Hey, I wanted to pursue 11/10 titties and so on earlier, but it seems that giving up the world for a hot demon wife was a one time aberration from how we've been voting the rest of the time. It's just acting within character.

Those two sound useful. We will need someone to be fixer in our trade.
3 B
Because we will leave part either way, so why not get some relationship points from that?

Hmmm? Care to provide examples of how we've been voting the rest of the time?

Looks to me like butthurt over a one-time aberration when we chose kids over some crippled tits. :M

True that. I forgot that children have the annoying tendency to be always watching, especially when you don't want that. Therefore, I'll replace my first vote to 1B>C.

By the way, what does Erd know about the afterlife and the like? What's the common knowledge? Since necromancers, magic and souls are a thing, I assume there must be several planes of existence/dimensions besides the "physical" one. Of course, as a proper overlord we will try to conquer all of them after we're done here.

I just looked over all the votes, and you're right. The only other time that we seem to have skipped is when we could have kidnapped the adjutant, but I don't think for a moment that that would have ended well. I reserve the right to be agonizingly butthurt over losing out on the hot cripple, though. :M

Regardless, increasing goodwill and fraternal spirit towards us and among present/future subjects I think will pay off later and allow us to demand greater tributes of flesh.

"We will petition Prince Farland for a decrease in this year’s taxes due to the raids, and also mention this payment from the village to you for services rendered.”

Ah, so it is a rebatable expense. Perhaps you should give them a receipt. “Wait, what is the going rate for the Adventurer’s Guild?”

“Are you not with them, sir? I thought…”

“I am… a freelancer, and new to these lands. I do not know how much the local guild pays.”

“Ah, of course, I see. That explains it,” says the chief hurriedly. “It is…”

“About twenty silver coins,” interjects Aria.
Something tells me that the Adventurer’s Guild does not appreciate freelancers crashing the market. :M

We might be encountering them one of these days.

Guys, our character hasn't been laid in ages. Fuck the information, we need to get our little pencil wet before we go insane.

A: Bullshitting these kids seems like a bad idea. Trying to paint ourselves as some sort of good guy sounds like it could backfire on us spectacularly down the road when it's obvious that we're not. Appearing as a great hero to your minions, only to have them become disillusioned later, has been the downfall of many an evil Overlord. This way, even though we're an asshole, we'd be an honest asshole.

And honestly, do you really see Erdrick as being good enough at manipulation to convince these kids that he's some sort of saint for the next couple of years? Fuck, sounds like too much work. He'd rather avoid it altogether.

A: The clear and obvious choice here. Our character is a pervert at heart and he has not gotten laid in quite some time. We need to unwind and relax a bit. The last few weeks have been nothing but battle and adventure.

A: While I think payment in breasts would be sufficient, we did loot the bodies for a reason.

They'll want to fix our sanity by staying at home, like they did with this whole Erise village. :negative:

They do not understand the Great Cycle of Adventure and Pussy, and how one leads to more of the other wihile providing a healthy mix of excitement and relaxation.

I am not sure where the saintly overtones come from, especially with 1B.

All I see is 'I am taking payment they don't need anymore for the trouble they gave me'. Overall, a pretty rational outlook that isn't too far from the truth.

I am gonna BCB this. Asking for the most beautiful girl in town could backfire... I mean... if this town has beautifull girls, we can always come back later. It's only 5 steps away from our hometown.

As for second and third choice, I would suggest we go either DA or BA. DA gives us best possible relations and admirations, which in time will turn into steady flow of tits, as young maidens want to please their hero. BA doesn't give so big relations boost, but it allows us to start planning for our kingdom and may open up extra quest to speed up the process.

Revealing our base of operation at this point would be stupid, since the retreating soldiers are in the area, and we may possible have adveturer's guild following us soon. And going for tits right away just means we have to work much harder for the next one, i.e. no more maidens from this village.

BBA.
