Sergiu64
Arcane
Sergiu64 Started watching another LP and found out that you can right-click on the character portrait in the skills window and get a pretty long bio. Check it out.
What??? Omg. Will post those next time! For now the next part of our adventure is completed:
Given the vote we backtrack. But its seems the only fork we have not explored yet is this one.
It leads to a room with some enemies.
And no joy sneaking up on this batch.
Owyn is charged - so he tries to swing at his attacker. Its a miss.
Gorath one-shots the witch. It helps that they always seem to be the slowest enemy. Don't think the luck will hold for long.
Owyn is hit for 8 damage.
He tries to return the favor but misses again.
Gorath is hit for 6.
His attempt to return the favor goes better - swing hits for 69 and kills the moredhel warrior. Nice!
He's then hit by the ogre for 11 and Owyn gets hit for 6.
Owyn tries to loose his attacker by charging the ogre - misses again.
Gorath misses too.
Owyn backs away - Gorath switches targets to Moredhel and hits for 57.
Ogre then nails him for 15.
Owyn griefs the ogre.
And Gorath finishes the moredhel with a thrust for 62.
Everyone rests up. Owyn then starts the Ogre for 13.
Gorath continues for 64.
Another 13 from Owyn.
And Gorath finishes for 71.
The witches are always good for some nice items.
The moredhel warriors... not so much.
Yup...
Nice surprise on the ogre though. Its good to recharge on restoratives after that trap blew Owyn away.
There's a chest in this room. The letters are:
WRSHTDEE
TLATOIAS
ASEPMBST
BEPOANTY
Answer and loot.
Surprisingly that's the end to this level. I expected something gigantic after the last level but this seems to more of a cellar than a dungeon. Guess Nutria was right!
So... Gorath can blend in easily. But Owyn? Maybe he can pretend to be Gorath's slave or something.
A thousand pikes, a thousand heads. Guess tribal warfare produces a lot of bodies.
Hmmm, this shop isn't likely to hold anything interesting.
I suppose powder bag is a surprise.
Not sure if I've shown this one yet. It can make trolls flee. They're kinda tough be we can usually still beat them down without this.
A little late for us to be practicing the lute.
I suppose those can be useful if we were low.
I guess we can inspect one of the heads on the pike.
Oh... what is it - in his mouth?
Hmmmm... I was going to sell the emerald - but maybe we need to keep it for a bit.
Not sure we should be showing our faces in a public place, but it would help to get the bearing of the land.
Other than the bartender - the only other person of interest is a gambler.
We leave the city and are greeted with snow. It truly is is the north.
The road ahead splits. One way to the West.
And one to the East.
As we get on to the fork we run into someone.
This elven lady seems quite stern.
Whoa - we randomly ran into one of the other chiefs of the north? What are the chances?
Seems like the plays the game. But what are these names? Who is Obkhar?
We did get some help escaping this time as well...
We'd probably be dead now if it threatens her cause. I'm sure she's got quite a few guards with her.
I'm not quite sure that's how it works...
This lady is pragmatic as f*ck. The way rulers should be.
Quite a few topics to cover.
Hmmm... I can see how Gorath would be up for that suicide mission. But is Owyn?
The devil you know may just be better than the one you don't eh?
A very good point.
Well... she seems like she'll be a better ruler as far as the Kingdom is concerned.
Well, seems like Gorath is on board as well. Sacrificing so many warriors does seem like a big price to pay though.
What is this Rib thing again?
Guess the note on the piked head opened this topic.
Sounds like we'll need to check it out.
Would be nice, wouldn't it?
Seems like that would suit Liallan's needs just fine.
How is that causing a problem?
It would be nice to know the answer to this question as well.
Hmmmm, Narab was in the capital. Why didn't Delekhan just tell his guards to seize him there?
How come he has enough warriors to surround Delekhan's capital anyway?
Ah! There we go. Guess that's what all this business with Nalar's rib is all about.
What battle?
Ah. Yes that was confusing to James as well.
A Captive for 10 years? And how would an invading army free him before the guards slit his throat?
That's a great point too. We still have no idea what's happening.
And what - he'd just give them to Delekhan as thanks? More likely take his place like Gorath was saying.
This all seems super far fetched. Guess the Dark Elves are either all morons, have some kind of zealous loyalty towards Murmandamus, or have their own reasons for following Delekhan into this fight.
Didn't the prophet lady claim this whole invasion is some kind of distraction for some mages to do their thing?
Some foreign magicians then?
Perhaps this is all their plan as opposed to Delekhan?
Clever!
Rubies. Kinda like the one someone stole from that Tsurani magician in Chapter one?
If they did - wouldn't they have cleared Narab's clan by now?
Hmmmm, sounds like we should NOT head that way.
But first thing first. We head south towards that Nalar's Rib thing and... there are some enemies ahead. We'll take care of them next time.

Good thing the hint made it kinda easy - there was no guessing this one from the letters.
Even more restoratives!
