DISCLAIMER:
This list has been discontinued.

Considering that many people wonder if Kickstarter is just a fad or think that millionaire projects are just some notable exception I have done something very autistic, here the list of all the projects that got more than 100K$, after seeing how many they are is safe to assume that all the projects above 10K$ are hundreds, obviously we are talking about funded projects.
Categories:
Green is for Videogames.
Yellow for board games, tabletop, PnP RPGs, etc.
Violet for game hardware, consoles, accessories, etc.
DISCLAIMER:
Cyan indicates that the product has been delivered but doesn't vouch for its quality, especially for technological products.
WARNING:
If you are a EU citizen the usual warranties here don't apply.
ADDENDUM:
Peru is for projects that completely failed to deliver.

I don't know about that... people who enjoy a particular style of game also enjoy diversity in that style, no-one just played Q3, they played UT99 too.

True, but there's a difference between playing an already-made game and committing yourself to an investment. Many people will say to themselves "I've done my part to resurrect this genre. Now let's see what happens."

Indiegogo is worse every time I check:
http://www.indiegogo.com/YenYurki
How they can let middle schoolers make projects there?

Edit:
Yen Yurki
An adventure game about inept bullies and the logistics of their insults
Logistics stands for logic.

Moar editing:
Another beggar in need of a microphone:
http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/102310

A horrid platformer wannabe:
http://www.indiegogo.com/dasplatgame

I hope this is a joke:
http://www.indiegogo.com/Critical-Go-Westerly-a-Go-go-

Awesome edit:
Guys check this.
Your no doubt asking by this point "well, don't keep me in suspense, what is this game idea you have, share it already". I have to apologize, as at this point in time, i don't' have the money to protect my game, so it's a catch 22, although i need to get the word out, i can't do it until i have some kind of legal protection for my idea, otherwise some clever game builder will come along and build it in no time flat, then my dream is lost.
http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/78197
And he wants 150k$, flexible funding of course.

Strap Yourselves In Serpent in the Staglands Dead State Divinity: Original Sin Project: Eternity Wasteland 2 Codex USB, 2014 Divinity: Original Sin 2 BattleTech Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire
I'm enjoying this more than say a Steam sale though.. like getting one of those chocolate eggs with a toy inside, could really be shit but could be awesome.. at least you enjoy the chocolate. In this case you really pre-order the chocolate egg and maybe enjoy the process but... heh this analogy sucks. On topic: waiting for MCA kickstarter.

Fucking pathetic. He probably has a "great" and "original" idea, and now need just a few peons to do simple stuff like coding, creating art, music etc.

Joe Mazza, dude, a "clever game builder" has already metric fuck-ton of ideas of his/hers own and no time and/or other resources to make it. Nobody cares about your idea, ideas are cheap and plenty.

I think the $100+ donations will start to dry up as the novelty of kickstarter wears off. Future projects will probably have to rely on a larger percentage of minimum level pledges to secure funding.

Extra Credits exists for people like this guy. Some people need to be told the obvious.

If the trend continues the funding seems secure.
On the bright side, only 6 days have been above the "average per day" pledge number. It's kind of a stupid metric given the non existent trend we have here.

I discovered that the guys of Chronicles of Skin, an interesting card game, had already produced other two card games, one of which seems up the Codex alley:
"Produces acts of sheer gruesomeness"

Malcolm Craig (A|State, Cold City, Hot War)

On the world's bloodiest gameshow you must kill to survive...

Hell for Leather is a darkly gory game of pursuit and savage violence. In the Standard Setting, play as contestants on the world's bloodiest gameshow and struggle for gruesome survival! Or customise the game during-play!
No GM - All the players are in charge of the story
No prep - Like a board game, you set it up together
Customisable - Create a new setting (like Pulp Explorers, Ancient Rome or the French Wars of Religion) during play!

Edit:
While we are talking about tabletop here one of the most funded projects on indiegogo, 89K$ to start a line of miniatures:

On a side note a guy got 40K$ to make posters with Nietzsche's quotes.

Codex Year of the Donut Serpent in the Staglands Dead State Divinity: Original Sin Project: Eternity Torment: Tides of Numenera Wasteland 2 Shadorwun: Hong Kong Divinity: Original Sin 2 A Beautifully Desolate Campaign Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire Pathfinder: Kingmaker Pathfinder: Wrath I'm very into cock and ball torture I helped put crap in Monomyth
If a Kickstarter's success is directly proportional to the amount of nostalgia it inspires, then board games are sure to be successful

What's happening with board games?
This one collected until now $560,341:

This one was mentioned on Penny Arcade.
Explains the retarded miniature goal too, but what about this one, it started few days ago:
http://www.kicktraq.com/projects/froggodgames/rappan-athuk/

The creator of Magic the Gathering didn't get the same results:

Probably because Map Monsters is f2p and also looked like a bad game. I have no basis for this but I get the feeling that f2p titles will not do near as well as conventionally sold titles, especially given how resistant people have been even to DLC.

No idea why Rappan Athuk has been so successful, the average pledge is currently $216 which is pretty crazy. I imagine they got linked from somewhere with a lot of traffic.

Or maybe all the people that played Magic the Gathering as kids now hate him for all the money he ripped them off with that game.
Seriously a f2p made by him will probably put at shame greed itself.

I didn't look closely at Map Monsters but the initial presentation was also extremely unappealing. What the hell were they thinking with that title picture?

It's not necessarily a bad thing when a project like that doesn't receive funding. If people are selective about what they fund they'll burn out slower.

MTG is going stronger than ever. Although I agree with, CCG is not a consumer friendly model.

Every indiegogo I've donated to has failed to get funding.

I'm getting the suspicion that you're the kickstarter version of MHC.

here jerkoid I bet you'll pledge even for this
http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/904982694/arifasia?ref=category

and probably this
http://www.kickstarter.com/projects...orce-vampire-vs-nuclear-unicorns?ref=category
Lillia Fang is a vampire princess who must subsist on unicorn blood to survive. Her idyllic life comes crashing down around her when her castle's magic barrier is shattered by a nuclear missile, and the Nuclear Unicorn Force comes pouring in! Total war ensues as Lillia and her allies struggle to demolish the militarized unicorns before they obliterate the entire kingdom! But wait... is that a mysterious shadowy figure controlling the unicorns from behind the scenes...?!

anyway

not sure what to think about this, it looks like it has some heart

I recommend the video highly for the quality placeholder VA alone

as far as I can tell the super special destruction just means them ships will break where you shoot them and that's all you care about since you're screaming past them anyway

http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/873336836/nes-characters-made-out-of-nes-carts?ref=category
I want to make as many Characters from the NES that I can out of old NES Carts.. Each cart will represent one Pixel in the full Sprite.. Each cart will be painted to match each pixel then placed on a back ground made of wood which will also be painted... I want to also make one to send to nintendo to be on display...

He will send one to you for a thousand dollars.

another ambitious $500,000 project with the worst pitch page
http://www.kickstarter.com/projects...of-chaos-a-mmorpg-in-development?ref=category
Everywhere you turn there is a game about a post apocalyptic world full of zombies, mutants, and remains of civilized society. What if such an event took place in a time and place of magic, horses, castles, where your sword and your shield were your currency? What if such an event was caused by the most peaceful race upon that world?
enjoy the developer's visage
http://www.kickstarter.com/profile/554158022

The pitch for THIS however is amazing, just amazing
$11,111 goal
