If InXile were truly Agile, they'd lay off 10% of their staff and claim it's for the benefit of gamers.Welcome to Agile, motherfucker!Constantly moving goal posts and intentionally creating chaos
They would still have that 90% left.If InXile were truly Agile, they'd lay off 10% of their staff and claim it's for the benefit of gamers.Welcome to Agile, motherfucker!Constantly moving goal posts and intentionally creating chaos
Gets to work from home... feels run down and undervalued.inXile gets a negative review from some kid who doesn't like the Fargo management style
Embrace the Chaos, Then Run
Current Employee, more than 1 year
Pros
Great stepping stone for your next role or breaking in to the industry. 100% work from home. Improved benefits and vacation. They are generous with the holiday party and holiday time off, but bring earplugs. The music is so loud people flee for the safety of their hearing.
Cons
This is not a Microsoft company. They are limited integration so they do not have to uphold any kind of Microsoft standard for a healthy or safe work place. There is very little diversity here. Upper management has never worked at a AAA company and it shows. Constantly moving goal posts and intentionally creating chaos because it makes people work harder and give a better product is a manipulative and dishonest way to run a company. You rarely feel successful. You just feel run down. People are disposable and undervalued, especially production. Producers here are run ragged, right into the ground.
Considering he works 100% from home.Sounds like a lazy bastard.

The Case of Too Many ChrisesIf it means what I think he means then it is a huge incline, no wonder this snowflake doesn't like it.
Peculiar thing to celebrate. Whether he gets to work on Arcanum isn't up to him, and they can't do anything with Bloodlines.Chad is happy to be reunited with his old IPs at least
Timmy's still involved with Obsidian on TOW 2 and he mentioned on reddit that he'd look into it way back when the deal was first struck.Someone with a Twitter account remind him about Tim Cain's legal issues with the source code (needs to be released from a clause in his contract with Sierra prohibiting it). That might be something he can kick up the chain.
They had complete freedom to make one, instead they wanted to make a Bioshock RPG.just let inxile make shadowrun already
they had to fail at a slam dunk first to cleanse their cosmic energies of anything that would ruin the perfect and inevitable shadowrun turn based rpgThey had complete freedom to make one, instead they wanted to make a Bioshock RPG.just let inxile make shadowrun already
I can't really blame em. If a publisher comes up to anyone and says "You have a blank check and the freedom to make whatever you want" a lot of people would want to make their own thing. It just speaks to their own tastes that the thing they wanted to make looks a hell of a lot like Bioshock. For real, imagine Shadowrun with WL3 visuals. What a dumbfuck decision to go for some half-cocked 3d shooter, I completely lost interest.
have you seen pentiment? i don't think you'd manage to hold their attention long enough for them to say no.Would Microsoft even allow them to make a turn-based game?
