Skyrim Compass Tuner

Skyrim Compass Tuner is an interface that allows you to easily hide or display icons on the compass.

The current display options are:
- Display/hide enemy markers
- Display/hide visited locations
- Display/hide unvisited locations
- Display/hide quest markers
- Display/hide custom markers
- Display/hide entrances/exit markers in interior cells
- Display/hide cardinal points

Additional features:
- Display/hide stealth indicator while sneaking

You can also totally disable the compass if it bothers you.

I'm also liking this one:

Immersive Custom FXAA Settings

After trying out a few custom-made settings for the FXAA PPI i wasn't quite satifised - they were either too dark, too colorful or too sharp.

So i decided to make my own and share it with you guys.

Don't know if these were mentioned (skyrim.ini)

[MapMenu]
fMapWorldMaxPitch=90.0000
fMapWorldInitialPitch=90.0000
Enables top-down view (default is 75 and 50)

fMapWorldMinHeight=50000.0000
fMapWorldMaxHeight=150000.0000
Need to increase max height because the default 80000 is too low for top-down.

sMapCloudNIF=
Will remove clouds from the map view.

Not sure what controls the fog distance though, I think it might be tied with the actual in-game one.

I'd like a mod that adds an extra favorites radial menu, kinda like the one in TW2. 8 keys just isn't enough for all the weapons/shouts/magic/items. The Q list sucks since you have everything in there, including he items on hotkeys.

Has anyone fixed the horses yet?

As in, they've unlocked the camera and removed driving from the mouse?

Favorites should really go to the right hand side of the keyboard. Numpad 0 maybe, cause when you're accessing it, the game pauses, and your mouse hand is kinda useless. so numpad 1-9 should be the preferred choice for extra favorites menu if it's possible.

Insert clever insult here
Seems that I might as well wait until summer before trying Skyrim. Maybe the most important mods will be collected into some good megapack by then and the game will be :monocle: enough.

Nope, not long at all. Had naked women on launch day, and about two weeks for naked men. Now we've got a good 5 or so years to get naked anime characters, and presumably that one guy who modded dicks on to all the monsters in Oblivion, Dragon Age, and Fallout 3 will get to work on Skyrim so we can have dragon dongs diving out of the sky.

Got too comfortable with Assassin's Creed control scheme, haven't you :) I too feel the same.

I also find myself wishing for the ability to swith between left and right shoulder camera as you could in The Witcher. It only made perfect sense.

By the way, how do you rotate inventory items on PC? I can zoom in with 'C', but that's it. Got another of those "puzzle" Claws and no idea what its symbols are from default viewpoint.
I feel my Skyrim experience is incomplete without it.

This mod doesn't make it better, it just makes it different. It's still the same shit in the end.

It is better because you can see the info on items without selecting them first, and you can see more items listed at once in inventory. Using keyboard for inventory isn't bad.

The worse thing is the favourite list, that you can't bind shield+sword (or any other combo) to one key.

It's also much better because you can sort your stuff according to the different listed categories (weight, value, etc.).

Also, mouse works nice for me. If it doesn't, try patch 1.1.
Just don't dare to touch patch 1.2. It's evil!

For some reason I never felt the need to have that shown all the time in this game. You couldn't see it in Morrowind either, and Morrowind's inventory was incomparably better.
Not having those columns hardly constitutes as a problem compared to actual issues.

You so funny.

And, no, mouse doesn't work.
Except it does? Drag with LMB.

And what are actual issues with the inventory? Using keyboard is pretty fast.

Seeing value, and weight is important when you have to figure out what to throw, and what to keep for sale. It is also an easy way to see what valuable items you have for sale. It is also an easy way to see if you have better items in inventory without having to browse it.

So glad it works for you. Phew. I was a bit worried there. But the thing is, it doesn't work for me. Incidentally, that's why I asked in a mods thread and also said that mouse doesn't work. So, unless you know a fix, can you please stay quiet? Thanks, bud. :thumbsup:

Wouldn't happen to have pirated, would you? The initial release from one of the groups either had a crappy crack or was missing a couple files and some of the people using it mentioned that exact same problem in menus. It was even discussed in one of the many Skyrim threads here.

An updated version came out a day or so later that fixed things, so you may want to check.

If you didn't pirate it, have you switched off the 'Xbox Controller' box in options? That messed with basic controls for a small chunk of PC gamers.
