Is there a mod for Skyrim that makes the Armour system modular again instead of big chunk "Iron Armour"?
This mod divides the armour into many elements. I dont know if it covers all skyrim sets.

I didnt play special edition version so i dont know if author changed anything but in Oldrim it worked like this
98798-1564855478-1031705536.jpeg

Seems the mod is very dead but someone is working to something similar from the comment.

I read some threads and it seems there is also sort of limitation with this system hard conded into Skyrim.

Honestly fucking hell Bethesda the decision to marge all armour to one piece is massive decline. Even normies with "Fashion-rim" tendency would be better with the Oblivion system or Morrowind one.

Sadly more than one decade nobody has cracked the system fully either and even then it will compatibility nightmare even if such framework is done

Fucking Todd

How's Requiem nowadays? My last and only playthrough with it was on 1.9.4 back in 2018.
overdue for next major version release, where races and artifacts will be redone. Cats will get bonuses for eating cheese, while artifacts are growing if you meet certain criteria - like hircine grows with each special boss/animal you hunt.
Otherwise its likely not recognizable game for you, Id advice to pair it with noxcrab mods at least.

Are enemies with super high regeneration still a thing in later releases? One thing I remember from my 1.9.4 playthrough was some Dragon Priest inside Labyrinthian that had super high regeneration and the only way to deal with it was Slow Time shout + Sun spells spam. High level vampire enemies had some crazy regeneration as well IIRC. I had a look at the changelogs but it doesn't look like those got changed.

Not sure but that was one situation where the White Phial used to work wonderfully. Too bad it's now nerfed into almost irrelevance, it would seem.

i did this in my wildlanders mage playthrough. they were all level 100 monstrosities with humongous resistances and an impossible amount of hp which you could barely dent with 100 skills, but no regeneration that i know of.

I don't remember much about artifacts from 1.9.4 (I mostly used the Necromancer Amulet) but them getting nerfed isn't particularly inspiring. At least once-a-day powers are gone, hated them.

Back then, they had something like two stackable health regen effects that gave them 60 HP restoration per second. I guess Labyrinthian is still one of the most complicated locations to go through in Requiem.

i dont know any more as i played with noxcrab tweaks that addressed that too(reduce regen while boosting other stats). You still need to prepare element to stop regeneration but its also easier since now you get oils that you coat your wpns with like poison. As in its part of noxcrab tweaks. For example you can get silver oil against undead.

somewhere on requiem reddit i shared some numbers on noxcrab tweaks and archery milestones(light/heavy/bound vs ebony vampire/lord/enchanted sphere)

Alright, thanks. I'll have alook at Noxcrab's Tweaks when it's updated for the latest Requiem.

Been playing a bit of Requiem lately (btw, it just got a bugfix update a few days ago). Feels somewhat easier compared to my 1.9.4. playthrough, completed Bleak Falls Barrow at level 9 as a two-handed, heavy armor warrior without trouble. I can take on a single dwarven sphere, but Falmers are still out of my league with all their poisons. I'll post more thoughts as I continue.

I would not call it a flaw, but repeat playthroughs get easier simply because you learn how to handle it. Of course, getting a horse and a follower significantly improve your odds.

good matchups vs bad. For example sneak archer can go against falmer early. but cant deal with single sphere nor got funds to fight so many undead

Speaking of horses, the one I bought died. They don't regen health and still launch themselves against bandits and whatnot. I was hoping Requiem would fix this behavior and trolls performing their dumb screaming idle animation during combat, but I can use other mods to address these.

I just searched for a grid inventory mod and found nothing.

Is this real??

20 years after the game released, nobody thought of fixing the most shit aspect of the game??

This could be good only if coupled with a meaningful increase of inventory size that is also immersive. Normally with weight stat based inventory, your stats like strength[in case of skyrim health] increease it. With grids, you would need to rewrite it with ALGUD and bandolier/backpack mod to work it in. Because how else immersively you will explain increased inventory? A multidimensional magic outer space access item could work and you could leave it in progressively harder ruins.

This is minutia. There's no grid mod, not even a badly made one, nothing. It's a civilizational catastrophe.

Bruh the game already has a grid.
Just with a single column, that's all. :M
