Good gaming channels on Youtube?

This is a video made by a speedrunner going over version differences between vanilla 1.1, wesp5's unofficial patch and Tessera's True Patch Gold. Although it's made from a speedrunner's perspective, any Bloodlines fan should find it to be entertaining and informative. There are also a few Tessera dramatic readings sprinkled in there for good measure.

Showing that the "True" Patch is not, in fact, "True" and also makes various changes beyond pure bug fixes.

Wesp5 is FINISHED

Strat-Retard should be kept far away from this topic, he's a complete moron who couldn't figure out basic protective spells in Pathfinder: Kingmaker. Fuck him.

Edit: Didn't he bitch about Underrail being too difficult and the mechanics being too complex for him?

Never watched either his Pathfinder: Kingmaker or Underrail videos, but if that's true that's fucking hilarious. I don't really watch him for any sort of mechanical understanding I just wanna listen to a dude wax poetic about video games for 2 hours.

Bismuth does docs on speedrunning stuff, so if you're into that you'd probably like his videos. It's a more techincal look than someone like Summoning Salt or Karl Jobst, so a hefty amount of autism is required.

Autism truly is a beautiful thing sometimes.

Can anyone recommend a good YT channel for racing game reviews? Especially street racing?

This guy has been doing a game-by-game retrospective on the Atari 2600 catalog. Well-researched, using primary sources (e.g., the actual programmers) as often as possible, and touching on the broader context of when the game was made. It's a bit dry but I'm totally fine with a bit dry instead of yet another guy screaming and quoting Wikipedia. This particular video is a bit longer than most because it turns into a history on the Star Trek mainframe game with a lot of clips of variants over the years.

I know it's Skyrim, but give it a chance. Rob normally does movie analysis, but he always makes chicken salad out of chicken shit.

Insert Title Here RPG Wokedex Codex Year of the Donut Codex+ Now Streaming! Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
decline of modern games

There are many games that have details like that, it is just that so many people notice them that you only see videos about them years later, often after a sequel or two :-P

EDIT: also IMO Hydrophobia has some of the best water physics

(and yes, it isn't that clear from the video but the water does push you around - and other objects. Also there are rooms sealed with glass that are filled with water which flows out and pushes everything around if you break them)

The rest of the game is your run of the mill janky low budget shooter.
