After reading the after action reports of pc beta players, it's pretty obvious Bethesda just offered them the XBAWX version the press was playing earlier, and the intern just slapped some barebone "make it run on pcs" changes onto it.
Several interns actually, since the button to close menus alternates between tab, space and esc, one guy alone can't be that bipolar.
Heh, I wouldn't even be surprised if the readme says "it's recommended to be played with a controler" somewhere for damage control.

The general consensus is already "an empty lifeless world where nothing happens" (= banal boring shit in 'dex terms), soooo will they even pretend to care about pc customers in the release version beta 2.0, or will it be known as the worst console port in recent history?
