it went downhill after the 3rd book anyway. murder of crows was just boring. dance with dragons sets up potentially interesting scenario but we will never see the payoff. ever.

One thing that makes me call BS on this is the title. From Software has already made a game called Rune (it was released in the west as Lost Kingdoms) and a sequel to it called Rune 2. They aren't going to release an unrelated game called "Great Rune". That would be like Nintendo making a random game titled Punch Out with no relation to their boxing games.
