I'm derpy and just realized Windows 10 exclusive means sold only through the Windows 10 store. Welp... so much for playing Dead Rising 4 and State of Derpcay within a year of their release.

Is this a goddamn joke?

RIP Resident Evil. RIP Capcom.

Well at least there's still the RE2 remake.

So it wasn't the absolutely awful shitshows that were RE5 and 6 that killed RE but a game that went back to the series original roots?

I don't think that Slender-like brand of "weaponless horror" is any closer to RE's roots than cinematic co op cover shootan is.
I honestly don't care for either direction...

Good conference. I liked God of War, Horizon and the new Kojima game (Kojimafag). Of course, if it isn't turn-based, the Codex doesn't approve it, so I'm not surprised of all the hatred inside this thread. I'm still doubtful about The Last Guardian, though.

Man, what a dull gaming industry.
Microsoft and their shitty store, souless exclusives, stupid smartphone console models.
Sony is just boredom, all their games are scripting fest, they all share this hollywoodian cinematographic retarded cut, because masses want a game tared for monkeys, like this wave of retardation and TV series.
AAA games : games = TV series : films.
Kojima is the most overrated developer of history.
EA, Bethesda and Ubisoft. I only wish these are names of condom industries and not SH.
We got 3 hours of cinematic trailers of everything, no gameplay, and if there is some gameplay, gameplay is scripting and cinematographic retardation.
I'll just fall into a wild spiral of retrogaming.

I'm kinda surprised to read some comments elsewhere about how Microsoft has outdone Sony by revealing the Slim model. Why should Sony bother? Their console is selling just fine and I doubt there's wild untapped market out there left for them.

Haunted house experience is closer to RE than popping moles as a roided up 'murrican. And is it confirmed to be a weaponless horror game or is that just a guess based on the trailer? In any case RE hasn't been good for over a decade now so I can't see why anyone would get upset over another crappy RE game.

Why would they call this piece of shit even RE7 in the first place if it is meant as a reboot of the series? And why did it take them so many years to make this cheap Outlast clone that any indie studio could have cobbled together more competently?

And what ever happened to the Panta Rhei engine? All that R&D money flushed down the toilet for this crap?
