IIRC every 3 months a new Book comes out. There are five in total.

The rough aim, according to an old post by Ragnar, is to finish the game by September 2015. A completely meaningless poll on the official forums predicts a Christmas release for Book 2. The next most popular guess is in mid-February. That's all we "know".

Eurogamer review: http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2014-10-24-dreamfall-chapters-book-one-review

It will take you three or four hours to reach the end of this long-awaited return to Dreamfall's world, and while the experience achieves equilibrium eventually, it's a wobbly start. In particular, it's disappointing that it ladles on tons of non-interactive dialogue scenes yet never really manages to offer newcomers a way into its brilliant but complex tale. Equally, it doesn't yet feel like a true adventure game, with too few puzzles dotted along the way, and solutions that fail to inspire.

And yet, for all that it staggers a little out of the gate, I'm still excited that Dreamfall is back, and looking better than ever. It picks up the story as if the last game only came out last week, and the writing and voice performances are very much in keeping with the distinctive tone of this sparse but beguiling series.

I'm glad that we no longer give scores to each chapter of an episodic game, because right now Dreamfall Chapters has problems. They are, however, mostly problems of the sort that would barely register in the opening hours of a complete game, and will hopefully disappear over time as the story deepens and the gameplay evolves.

I hate episodic games. TLJ and Dreamfall are among my all-time favourites, but I will be waiting until this gets fully released.

Unless, of course, Red Thread Games go bankrupt and never finish it...

It's good. Feels a lot like Dreamfall, but dialogues are mostly interactive now. There's a big focus on exploration when you get to Europolis.

Performance is terrible, though. I was getting around 20 FPS in most areas, and you can't disable depth of field which makes everything look like you have cataracts.

I'm on an actual spaceship. No joke.
FUCK THIS SHIT! Playing it right now, I love this series. TLJ was great, and so was Dreamfall, despite having no gameplay. But this? This!!? Is taking it too far. Mired in gelatin-thick sentimentalism, telegraphing every possible consequence from far away, cutscene after cutscene after cutcene. Ragnar Tornquist, just make a film already. You retard. Fuck.

Alsao drunk. Sorry.

Why everybody are are using so much bloom nowadays? Are they hoping that people will get blind after 5 minutes of plaing and never notice how shitty game is or what?

TLJ was enjoyable, I played Dreamfall only briefly and I cannot remember if I liked it. I have expectations for Chapters and hoped that it will be like TLJ, but this one is apparently another 3 hours long interactive movie :( .

Her ass definitely looks worse than before.

Just compare it: http://youtu.be/mqkwZPJbFig?t=3m4s

Have they placed these shiny buttons here particulary in order to draw viewer's attention to her ass?

Telltale did the same thing for adventures what Bioware did for rpgs. I hate them all.

Are the two older games worth playing? I love adventure games and I tried the first one long ago, but I remember I couldn't shake the feeling that it had this "female cheeky character written by a dude who *kinda* struggles to write a female cheeky character". I can't remember any specifics at all, just reember a feeling of it being kinda... forced somehow. I'm thinking maybe I should've given the game more of a chance but there was something about the writing that put me off
