do Pawns not get uploaded to the broader servers until you reach a certain point on New Game plus?
I doubt that's it. Are you, god forbid, USA?

Pawns get refreshed on the server every time you rest at an inn. No idea about regional rules. It can help you see them if you're friends on Steam, I think. Zombra and I were swapping pawns awhile back.

You can equip whatever augments you bought, even warrior/fighter augs on a mage.

If you're playing now post your pawns, level and vocations (so I can find them), I'll take them to BBI and break them in properly.
Name: Benihime
Level: should be 20, but I'm going to play some more as soon as I get home, so it might be more by the time you see this
Vocation: Mage/Magic user

If you find her, you can spot her easy, because she has bright red hair, and is VERY short.

Ghulgothas I took your slave through the entire BBI + killed Daimon several times so she should be coming home with some gifts. Overall she did good, kept buffing our weapons and healing when wounded. The one time she messed up was when I was getting vored by a mimic and instead of attacking it she decided it'd be better to heal me.
As such, as received a punishment.

By the way, a protip: if you want to hire to level 200 pawns, don't search for 200 level pawns. It'll only show you the shitty stock offline Capcom pawns (they have no owners).
If you want a level 200 pawns, search for level 199 instead. For some reason it'll show you 200 level pawns with human owners.
Don't know why that is, maybe it's a PC version quirk.

Probably there are no level 199 pawns or maybe very rare. No gamer will leave them at 199 (unless they are truely evil)

But why are all 200 level pawns premade?

Guys, what's the best practical joke involving your pawn and the gifts/praise they bring back after being rented out that you've seen?

My pawn I posted earlier returned from another rental today, only when she came back she'd been redressed in the Jester's Motley and bore the Badge of Vows 69 as her gift.

She had full stars in all fields, though. Whatever it was, she must've done a good job.

No, I searched and couldn't find him (she/her) even after resting.
I'm assuming she's higher level now?

Her. Once I get home, I'll drop her new level and stuff.
I have her as a Sorceress. What spells/skills/auguments would you rather she have on?

I don't really play sorc or had a sorc pawn but from my experience they're better off with moderate power spells with faster cast time than big boi spells. So I'd go for High Gicel, High Levin, High Comestion, Holy Affinity, High Voidspell and High Lassitude or High Miasma.
Don't give em any Grand upgrades because they'll either waste time and stamina casting spells on highest levels on monsters that aren't really worth it or will cancel their casting mid spell. Gotta keep them simple and mobile.
For augments, stuff that encourages them to cast is preferred. Emphasis, Conservation, Gravitas, Acuity, Articulacy from sorc alone. Throwing in stuff that give them more stamina encourages pawns to use skills more often. Or just give her some mage augments.
Oh and give her Wyrmking's Ring if you have it.
And unlock Focused Bolt (core skill) for her so she can holy focused bolt out the ass.

And no maelstrom. I like to see what I'm doing.

All these augments are shit! It feels like they do nothing!
Yeah, even Clout and Autonomy only give 20-30% bonuses. By the time you get them you've already gained much more from leveling and better weapons. When people say they're awesome they're talking about the original game where these augs were OP.

Sinew, Egression, and Leg Strength are probably all I care about. Run faster, escape from ogres and mimics faster, and carry more shit.
