Why didn't anyone ever mod Warrior to have 6 abilities like all the classes? Shouldn't it be a simple thing to do to copy the other classes' system and use it on the warrior?

Nude mod.

:happytrollboy:

No mods needed. And kidding aside, nude mod is nice, since it's one of the few games where it makes sense in combination with the layered clothing/armor system. There are some graphics mods, like better textures, but they're all very minor.

But why would you give it a fourth try? I mean, it's a great game, but if you'd like it, you surely would've realised during one of those first three times?

About to give this game a fourth try, any must have mods in PC?
If you're playing off-line, there's a Hired Pawn Inclinations mod that allows you to set the primary and secondary inclinations for all randomized pawns, greatly easing the process of finding viable new pawns.

If you dislike the Arisen having a permanent scar, there's a mod that removes it.

Also, someone created a mod that fixes the bug with the Inflection augment, causing it to have the opposite effect from what was intended, that was introduced with the Dark Arisen expansion on PS3 and never fixed by Capcom (edit: it seems Capcom did finally fix this bug, in a patch released December 2017, nearly two years after the PC release).:greatjob:

Some new "leaks" from 4chan about DD2

I am in a position that allows me to know certain details regarding the next Dragon's Dogma.

I am pleased to notee that some of you have kept track of what I've wrote in the past, but one post seems to have slipped through the cracks (maybe deleted or not posted perhaps in error). Anyway, I've updated it and am posting it here for you for better clarity

Almost all of what I wrote last time is confirmed except for the end-game coop, it's still happening but downgraded to a lower priority (most likely as update post-launch). Let's start from some technical info: there have been some hiccups in the last months. The team is more than satisfied with what has been achieved with the RE Engine, especially in the dungeons (magics are amazing but for now there is a very limited ray tracing, some sources are baked in a smart way, especially a new kind of fake tone mapping). However, problems have occurred in large open areas with a lot of trees/vegetation (some fights have literally brought dev-kits to their knees, even using extra power from upgraded pc stations). Currently the team is forced to choose whether to have more than 10+ enemies on screen or use sorceries with very complex animations like the tidal wave or 溶岩の海(?). The developers are still consulting with the RE guys occasionally, working to optimize the performance as much as possible.

About the character creator I learned that it is made to be used also with the Arisen, the mask will be mandatory only for about half of the campaign (you can see him without in the tutorial and permanently after a certain event later)-COMFIRMED. However the Phersu (mask) can still be removed temporarily but it will cause a radical change in the world, revealing our position and exposing us to stronger and more aggressive enemies, some of them impossible to defeat without specific equipment. There are quite complex mechanics behind all this, there will be ALSO the chance to permanently sacrifice your pawn and make it corrupted in exchange for unique pieces of armor. Unfortunately I'm not able to know everything I want.. hopefully I will be able to find out more by the end of this summer.

About a possible announcement, Itsuno is so excited that he would love to reveal the game as soon as possible but for now is scheduled for the tenth anniversary yet at the same time he's adamant on some points, he does not want to retract on the ideas planned at the beginning and strangely enough the higher ups seem to go along with him for now. This, coupled with the limited availability of PS5 and new GPUs, will lead to a considerable delay in the release date (it is rumored to be Q4 2022 or Q1 2023). I read you guys when I can but I get confused because you talk very little about video games, if there is any news to share without compromising my position I will keep you updated.

I feel like I've seen this exact post with this exact wording in numerous places on the internet for at least a year. We know from the Capcom leaks that DD2 was in an unspecified stage of development, but I'll believe the actual details when I see it.

Monster Hunter Rise would seem to throw a little wrench into that "leak" given it's a Switch game running on RE Engine with large levels and from what I've heard it runs even better than World did despite being on weaker hardware.

There was a leaker (that one that leaked RE8) talking about Capcom working on RE Engine for larger environments. They guessed it was probably for Dragon's Dogma 2, (and it probably also was for that) but that was also before Rise was announced and they said it would also be on RE Engine as oppose to MT like World was.

Rise asbolutely doesn't work better than World. It is 30fps with dips. Moreover its "levels" are nowhere near complexity of World. They are essentially just bigger levels with PSP like quality.

Whatever they will go for World 2 with RE engine or MT it all depends on RE ability to scale up to really big maps. Which is even bigger question when we talk about Dragon's Dogma which should have incomparable bigger world to MH maps.

Personally i am hopeful that they didn't scrap Panta Rhei engine and will reuse it for DD2:

Monster Hunter World is shit and the game was constantly dipping below 30fps on PS4, Perkel is lying. Rise runs better than World on PS4 did. Period. The maps are also not sectioned off like the PSP/DS games as he's claiming, they are one giant map, just like how world worked. Also the "complexity" of World's levels are absolutely shit.

Except Rise is dipping below 30fps. PS4 MH did dip but at least game looked great. Rise doesn't look that great to warrant such dips is my point.
