I'm seeing some familiar names in here from the BG3 thread who defended that garbage. How can you shit on Veilguard for being woke slop when you played and enjoyed BG3?

They had a chance to have a nude, blood soaked lady rise from a pool of blood like Elizabeth Bathory, but their sex-negative troons and other nonbinaries gave her basically no tits.

Timestamped:

dafuq is that dialogue? "Of all the ways this could go down". Who wrote this slop and thought: yep, this is good! :retarded:

I'll go with 82 as the metascore. Player reviews will be mixed on steam after a week.

I'd guess the critical points will be a monotonous/weak combat system, disappointing story/characters, and questionable art style.

The claim will be that it sold with expectations for a while until they quietly admit that it underperformed in a few months.
Feeling good about my prediction. Score is 79 on PC currently.

AA and indie games will have this too.

And Japanese games as well.

There's no escape.
Chinese games and Russian games (Owlcat doesn't count) are safe. You just need the next CCP or Russian-state stamped game for the "no poz allowed".

Hate to disappoint but... Chinese games are for insectoids. I wouldn't even play that if bugmen collective pays me in tight cunt asian waifus. And russian games... hmm what russian games? Other than trend chasing cypriotic slop and small time indie hipster games i can't think of any. Russian state sponsored gamedev is the seal of quality with games like Sparta 2035, Saturn and Smuta. So you can count them out too

Maybe russians will deliver more total conversions in future, but russian industry in it's current state can't produce anything of worth. Definitely nothing going on in RPG department.
Atomic Heart, Warhammer 40k Space Marine 2 and Wukong Black Myth were cool.

So a chinese souls like slop
Still better than Elden Ring.

don't think the weekend will change anything. Starfield had 6-7 times the number of players at about 330k initially when releasing on a Wednesday. Baldur's Gate 3 had over 800k players when releasing on a Thursday. Fallout 4 released on a monday had almost 500kplayers on day one.

To put this further into perspective, Wrath of the Righteous had about 47k players on day one still as a smaller studio. Rogue Trader about 37k. Drag Age: Gay ol' Guard is barely over 60k as a mainline title released by a AAA developer. It's getting players barely better than a smaller indie studio. Bioware is dying and they will be going broke.

Well said. This numbers would be great for a smaller studio but for a AAA game developed in a decade, not so much.

Why are people buying this game
ftfy.
I feel like I'm the only one here who hasn't bought the game yet.

You guys must have so much fun playing DATV. :(

I wouldn't play it for free. Playing Origins at moment.

It will be enough to greenlight the next big ass project.

Starfailed had 330k at launch.
