Alliance and EG imploding probably have something to do with Alex Garfield quitting

Isn't GGA owned by Amazon or some shit? When are these dumbfucks in super niche industries gonna learn not to get involved with megacorps lmao.

EG/Alliance are teams that are technically managed by GGA, which was bought by Twitch, which was bought by Amazon. So yes, technically Amazon owns EG/Alliance but I doubt that had anything to do with it. While GGA may implode as evidenced by two key people leaving it (Alex Garfield and Brandon Freytag) it would seem natural for their players to jump ship and found a new team similar to OG/Secret. I'm fairly certain fear/zai leaving EG might just be that, or they're trolling since they can just rejoin the roster after september 4th. Who knows with all these drama-whores.

I am eagerly awaiting videos of whole teams teleporting onto a creep that gets turned by chen and immediately sent back to base. The teleport still completes in that case, porting everyone into the enemy teams fountain.

Didn't have to wait that long I guess.

Seeing Vanguard I thought he went for the Miracle- build, but wtf.
Beats a ~2k game where I saw an AM with Vanguard + Echo Sabre I guess.

Is there a reason to stack with people shittier than you? (aside from playing with "friends")? I usually play with a friend of mine as two stack and we both are 2,7k so we are shit, we played up to above 3k and then fell back. What I noticed is 3 stacks where one player is usually way higher than us around 3,4 - 3,9 and he brings with him his friends who in turn are about 1k under us. We usually lose those games if the enemy team doesnt have players who are as bad and can be exploited.

normally I would expect the high mmr to carry that shit or at least try but most of the times he doesnt or cant. I just cant fathom why they play together, it must be as frustrating for someone at almost 4k as it is for me to play with people this low. Only explanation I could think of is to stomp people worse than you since even on my mmr I would be 1k under him, but usually he does not do it or is not able to do it while the enemy team has a field day with us if their mmr is even.

I only noticed this in the last few months and not really before so I was wondering why that happens.

Sooo s4 or nortail for mid then? But that Ana is also supposedly a mid player. This seems like less than ideal roster.

I don't know. They seem very flexible. Ana seems to be able to play Pos 1 also, and n0tail could go offlane if the game requires it (Beasmaster, Brood, Brew etc).

Maybe they are continuing the flexible roles system they had going.

Valve could institute some prize penalties for rapid team switching. Encouraging teams to stick together will increase fan retention (especially non player observers).

Players who participated in a former major who are no longer with that same team (say, within a 2 year limit) could be hit with -20% prize reduction.

lol what the fuck, goddamn in what other sport do the dickhead fans demand their manfus stick together or else lose all of their cash? I say we go a step further, we should confiscate 100% of the cash from the asian teams, tear up their passports, and break their hands: GO TEAM NAVI WOOOOOH.
