Considering that you have about 10h left and are about 4000$ short it's sadly highly unlikely, unless some mysterious Notch kind of donator chips in 4 grands, for you to reach your funding goal.

My suggestions to Demiurgos devs:

Polish up your product, work on your presentation and make sure first video you upload is well made trailer not longer than 3 min. Consolidate your existing audience and increase it by building up hype about your project on reddit and similar platforms. Use your political/philosophical motive in these turbulent times as selling point. Use Thunderclap, allegedly it could help you with your reach. Release and make in advance Kickstarter updates every 2-3 days so that you'd give media and Infinitron reason to post about you.

Now, the most important part:

You've already established contact and were in touch with youtuber Sargon of Akkad. He agreed to make a video about your project on his The Thinkery channel and share it with his quite big and higly active (also part of your target) audience. BUT.... he wants playable demo, so that he has something to show them. In the next couple of months to six months, make short demo which will ve higly scripted display of what your game is. Send it to him as soon as your Kickstarter is live so that already from day one you'll be able to get lots of funds and get rid of low funds/failure stench all projects who in the beginning fail to gather much support get.

Make sure to not repeat your mistake and send to Kickstarter mods low resolution video so that you'd get that stupid 'Projects we love' tag.

Put your funding goal at 10,000$.You'll be able to reach it and surpass it easily if you follow all the previous steps and it would look less suspiciously low.

Launch your second campaign by the end of the year. Avoid to launch it when huge gaming related event is ongoing (like Game of the Year awards crap) cause it takes away all the attention.

Keep believing in your project and yourselves and so will we. Don't give up! Your project deserves to succeed and it will, it just needs more attention in order to take off. :salute::obviously::salute:

Don't put all your eggs in one basket. I have no idea how reliable this Sargon fellow is, and he's quite distant from video games in my mind. You want to identify and cultivate several influencers relevant to the game. That is, people whose audiences are likely to respond positively to your pitch. Just brainstorming: Ideally you'd get the kickstarter RPG successes like Inxile, Obsidian etc to endorse you. Maybe the smaller ones too. Then you want the "RPG creatives" to mention you. MCA, Sawyer etc. Maybe Alexis Kennedy and his fellow travelers. Then, the "old school" gaming crowd, which is here, Matt Chat, etc. This isn't comprehensive, you will have to do your own thinking, and craft your pitch accordingly. Maybe you can get some German solidarity from Daedalic.

Sargon of Akkad is big youtuber with over 600k subs on main and almost 200k subs on his The Thinkery channel. On Thinkery every video gets over 100k views, he's avid gamer, posts even his let's plays, loves Ancient Greece, loves politics and philosophy, follows Daniel on twitter and has agreed to Demiurgos dev's request for a video if he's supplied with at least short demo. Also his audience is mainly gamers coming from GG as is he.

Of course he should also contact others though as far Matt Chat is considered let me quote one Codexer:

Guy who constantly puts his haircut on semi hiatus has everything in his life on semi hiatus

We can help them with the list of youtubers they should contact, too.

Hi there,

Thanks for being a backer of DEMIURGOS: Path of the Leviathan. Unfortunately, this project did not reach its funding goal by its deadline. Because funding on Kickstarter is all or nothing, your pledge of €58.00 has been automatically canceled and your card will not be charged.

The fact that you showed your support is still appreciated! If you’d like to follow along with the creator’s next steps, stay tuned to their updates. You can even drop them an encouraging message or comment on their project page.

Thanks again for supporting this project.

:salute:

It's over. Pity. Well, learn everything you can from the mistakes made during this campaign, do not, I repeat do NOT water down game and remove all the rpg mechanics because they make game that much more interesting, appealing and interactive.

As others mentioned, avoid like plague any big video games related storms like Steam sales, Game awards etc. I'd even say that you were so unlucky and that reason why you didn't get even more attention and support from Codex has to do with third of all threads' names having Grimoire in them. Then again even Cleve himself couldn't forsee and plan ahead to avoid Grimoire release. Other non-Grimoire events and releases are a bit more... predictable.

Just work on everything we've told you and return in few months down the line and I'm sure you'll ride that incline wave all the way to funding goal and beyond into stretch goals.

A damn shame. I think these kind of ambitious small team projects should be what Kickstarter is for, not for big companies like Inxile to fund all of their shitty games at :argh:

No, I was in the middle of a conversation with him to compose for the game, but he went dark on me when the Kickstarter failed. I eventually remade what I had composed for them into my graduation piece and I'm likely to professionally record it with a real orchestra during my graduation concert in 2 months, so stay tuned for that :p
