What's her character

easy peasy lemon squeezy. her father was ambushed in mission control. in the aftermath she manages to get away but seeks revenge against the group. which you meet at the Pit. how you deal with the group leads to the resolution of her character - at this stage of the game anyways. either you influence her to be heartless murderhobo (Assassin feat) or you tell her that violence isn't always the answer and she becomes softhearted (Thief feat). so far though there's not enough dialogue between her and the player character to get a feel of her preferences towards the three main factions. additionally her character will have more development later on.

She's a battle bro who always got your back. Smashing skulls and shooting bad guys.

So does Evans. So does Jed. Jed betrays you if you attack his mutant buddy, the girl leaves you in a fit if you kill her stupid family friend after practically extorting a promise out of you. Even when she is a "heartless murderhobo" thanks to your words of wisdom.

Only Evans despite constantly moaning and complaining about his goddamn Pit and danger never leaves your side. True brother with no conditions and hooks. This is what loyalty or gratitude looks like.

They aren't exactly new, I'm pretty sure both shotgun and SMG were in the first combat build. Maybe even that revolver.

Having trouble with making a reliable Pistol build, it feels like high DR enemies barely take any damage if you don't crit

Hmm. How much penetration ya packing? All my Pistolero builds have been on Faythe. Her innate penetration from Assassin with Sharpshooter + Redeemer allow her to chew through enemy DR.

I'm using Evans with Pistolero and Fast Draw, no other sources of innate penetration... must be that
He's really good at aimed shots / debuffing but won't kill enemies for shit, meanwhile the run where I built him for Rifle crits he was 2 tapping everyone with long arm of the law

Try Aiming Torso. It also gives you +30 Penetration. If you still have an extra feat to spend. Buy Sharpshooter for Evans. That's another +10 Penetration. Also what pistol is he using? Redeemer which you find at Mission Control on dead body gives 10 penetration too.

Was using the Bulldog II, must have missed the redeemer, unless you're talking about the "dead" Biotech 3 body
