I'm amazed how today Polish games combine the dumbed-down aspects of TES with an injection of political ideologies. They are truly an abomination.

Still butthurt with that SMUTA-disaster, don't you?

Next year if all is well (knock on wood) will be 10y anniversary of my current rig and I just came here to thank again CD Project Red for saving me ~2000$ when this game came out.

I was so foolish (ah, young people are silly) back then thinking I would upgrade and buy all new components just to play this pile of garbage. Then gameplay videos and memes came, and it was...oh, never mind!

Congrats on your rig lasting so long, but if you think those meme compilations are indicative of the actual game, you're probably retarded. Maybe get that checked out.

Game is still bad and not an RPG.

Merida, again
The game is not that hard to run. A RX 6750XT level graphics card and any decent +6 core CPU can run it at 1440p medium to high at +70fps (the most recent build with all the patches). If you are one of those people that think >120fps 2160p is not gaming or that ray tracing is a must than no, you will have a hard time with anything that isn't a 4090.

Giving this a spin on geforce now with all the bells and whistles. I honestly expected better, visually. I do think the lighting and atmosphere can be quite nice. That said, I was a bit disappointed by how

-I'm enjoying myself by treating it like a stronghold clearing game. I do think nu-Deus Ex did a better job of limiting your takedown abilities by having it tied to a resource. I don't recall if you can endlessly hack in nu-Deus Ex, but I miss the old lockpick/consummable for classic RPGs.
-playing on Very Hard, so melee is a big nono as I can die in seconds. I'm still on Ch 2. Romance has been done very well (Panam). Looking forward to seeing how the main story goes + DLC

If you think it doesn't look good you need to upgrade your monitor. To many people here are playing games on some ancient 60hz full HD monitor that can barely reproduce colours and then go on and shit on games.

Get a modern 4k tv capable of atleats 800 nits in HDR and full cover of DPI-3 and play in a lightning controlled environment. Also download texture mods.

CP2077 looks great even on a 60Hz HD monitor, anybody not seeing this should have their eyes checked ;). Maybe the gameplay isn't to your liking or there is too little RPG in it, but the graphics surely are fine!

Yeah, I agree with that, I'm running the game on an ancient 60Hz sub-HD display and it looks gorgeous. I even put up with mods, DLSS and the occasional frame tank just to keep PT on, it's quite spectacular. PT Cyberpunk is kinda like the new Crysis, and CDPR certainly leaned into that (not that there was much else to lean into).

Spot the posters who watch Digital Foundry videos.
Okay, I gotta ask, was it just the founders on their own or did all of CDPR run a train on your butthole? 'Cause if even praising CBP's graphics gets your hemorrhoids going, something definitely happened.

Not sure why General Disarray is getting edgy buttons, he's right you know. There's been truly a massive progress in monitor technology in the last couple years, an upgrade makes hell of a bigger difference then any top GPU.

Because many Codexers are third worlders that can't afford to use public toilets, much less modern technology.
