Maybe he was inspired by one small studio's struggle against all odds and offered to do it for free?

No one's inspired by that! Samuel L. Jackson turned US down! And that dude turns down NOTHING!

Bt

You forgot what Smauel L. Jackson loves most in this world. Money.

Somebody actually guessed Elijah Wood pretty early on the official thread.

He's actually a big gamer, a backer, and has been a fan of the project since the beginning (Twitter evidence of that).

He might be doing it for cheap or free. Who knows.

I was impressed by Elijah in the VGX video.

He's one of the few celebrities that I truly believe to be a gamer.

That + doing Wilfred on TV has got him a very high post on my bro list.

Meh. Nothing beats Robin Williams and stories of him calling Infocom (I think it was Marc Blank?) in the middle of the night begging for hints to finish one of their games.

I couldn't believe it. Robin Williams is such a bro. I'm sure he would do a voice acting for some promising adventure game.

He probably would want to voice half of the characters...on same sessions.

Zelda as a name is a LOT older, though I don't think most people realise this. I do wonder if Williams did.... Wikipedia states he named her specifically after the game.

Everthing's looking pretty good. It was very interesting to see at the 7.30 point that artists have to watch out for a loot of things on a scene. How the props are placed, how many exits, hotspots the game have, how is the floor drawn.

Despite every thing, every criticism I have said about the way they manage their backers money, color me excited. I just hope it's not a 30 minutes game.

I doubt that. Tim said several time, that one of the problem they faced was that the game just grew and grew as he has written the plot. I think they even said in one of the documentaries that they didn't want to make a short game.
