I'd take a draw default result, but since he just gave a one sided account of no injury on his side, and got me down by 4 men, I wouldn't take a FUCKING LOSS BY DEFAULT RESULT JUST LIKE THAT.

He bought one inducement on our first half game -
Recommend me a counter to this guy Jaedar Grunker

He has TWO Rat Ogres on the field that caused a lot of havoc and fodders have to be deployed just to eat punches.

yup, fodder away with linemen, dodge away from the one with wild animal if possible(it's hard, so do it end of turn).

Fursecution vs Knights of Codexia - Delayed Furballs

01.jpg

Once again, thank you for your patience with me and apologies for the hell of a delay we've endured. Was intending to finish this match 2 days ago, but the power went out on my work laptop - and hence.. a second replay was forthcoming. From the Fursecution's coach point of view, the game should've been defaulted to him. Thankfully, he agrees for a 2nd, final, rematch. I decided to forgo taking the laptop home and stay at the office past work hours just to play Bloodbowl.

Appreciate it. Motherfuckers.

02.jpg

Terrible graphic settings but it's better than a power outage on the last game.

03.jpg

Two of the three unbeaten teams in the league meet - Fursecution nearly out of reach at first place, while Knights of Codexia still struggling to clench that 2nd win in the season. They're not safe, but nearly there.

The going doesn't look good, very sunny weather will hamper passing - and the Furries have hired a star Rat Ogre player, Headsplitter.

04.jpg

6 STR, 6 MA, 3 AG, no Bonehead/Wild Animal/Really stupid. Did I tell you he has Frenzy, Mighty Blow AND Prehensile Tail? If this guy EVER gets the ball, there's no fucking way I can bring him down.

Furries elect to kick - must be very confident of scoring quick-drawing TDs.

05.jpg

I'd take it, since we're going to be out-powered throughout the match, no thanks to the fucking Rat Ogres. Kinda miss Grunker but what can you do? I only have 90k in the bank. And putting him in will only make the TV inducement worse. So. Here's the setup. I put three Blitzers on the skirmish line with the accompanying linemen. Hopefully a few line rats will eat an early injury, giving me numerical advantage.

And really, this play is really as transparent as it gets, two throwers and Azira at the back to grab loose balls, then make quick run to the right, focusing all the fire power there as the center linos tie up the two Ogres.

06.jpg

Kick is incoming! In this Rat Ogre case, it's more like a punch.

07.jpg

Good.

08.jpg

That quick snap will let me utilize Azira's diving catch by getting within one tile of the landing zone...

09.jpg

Good start.

10.jpg

eklektyk and Whitewolf combos on the right to break thru and hopefully nail the Gutter Runners, which Furries left unprotected.

11.jpg

12.jpg

Takes him down on the second try, Wolf moves up to mark the back runner. Eklektyk will stay back as insurance.

13.jpg

Getting the ball to safety.

14.jpg

Nothing left to play for on the left, stabby regroups with the team.

15.jpg

OK, all set. Time for the central beat down to commence.

16.jpg

Brother None only gets a push. Jaedar scores a stunning blow, while Gondolin gets a KO. Not bad.

17.jpg

Hellraiser and LundB knew what to do, move up and tie up the Rat Ogres... Turn over.

18.jpg

Furries are really quick, and they won't waste a chance to slip in a Runner on the unprotected left. But I have enough STR to handle these .. I hope.

19.jpg

They burned a blitz on Whitewolf, but only got a push. Stand Firm nullifies it.

Meanwhile, at the center...
20.jpg

LundB gets pushed by the Rat Ogre on the first block...

21.jpg

..and survived a second push! Good going!

22.jpg

Hellraiser too, just gets a push...

23.jpg

...too damn good. The Furries coach calls for a reroll, and scores a stunning blow.

24.jpg

Good work Hellraiser.

Meanwhile, the rest of the left flanks of the Furries move right to stop the offense.
25.jpg

The downed runner next to eklektyk tries a dodge on wake up, and failed on the second go...

26.jpg

Turnover.

27.jpg

Doesn't look that dangerous, let's move up. EA's ex-CEO marks - something.

28.jpg

I think it's pretty clear where I want to go.. at least after 15 seconds of review. JR will mark and make the right blob crowded and hard to escape from. XenomorphII will mark the lone Gutter Runner. And Brother None is free.

But first - let's take down some furries.

29.jpg

30.jpg

Gondolin gets a knockdown on a Stormvermin.

31.jpg

33.jpg

Whitewolf fluffs his chance against a Gutter Runner, that slippery rat just dodges every block! Even eklektyk can't score the knockdown finish...

No harm done, let's do the breakaway.

34.jpg

35.jpg

Exchange is smooth...

36.jpg

..and he's off!

37.jpg

Should've done that one tile go-for-it for extra safety...

38.jpg

LundB's luck ran out.

39.jpg

Yeah, I fucked up right there... Brother None will just have to grin and bear it.

40.jpg

Oh man...

41.jpg

Whoops.

42.jpg

No injury as he gets pushed to the crowd... With the ball! It gets thrown back in... and...

43.jpg

OK. Not too bad.

44.jpg

Maybe I said that too early...

45.jpg

Stormvermin CRITICALLY success a pickup at 4+ ....

46.jpg

DODGES OUT! WITHOUT A FUCKING REROLL...

47.jpg

Oh for fuck's sake.... this can't get any worse. I can't ask Jaedar to intercept, that Prehensile Tail is hard to dodge out from... Xeno will have to do the honor.

48.jpg

Here it comes...

49.jpg

EAT SHIT MOTHERFUCKERS!

50.jpg

HE FUCKING DID IT!

Plan B
It looks like we're still going to have to bash if we want to get anywhere, the sun is a bitch and passing is just not in the books today. We need all the men tying up the rats.

01.jpg

Whitewolf understood this and finally KOs a rat.

02.jpg

JR marks the Gutter Runner. Just in case Xeno fails to knock it down.

03.jpg

No one is free to blitz him free, so Xeno has to do it himself. Thank god for Block.

04.jpg

Let's go up.

05.jpg

Looking good...let's bash more

06.jpg

stabby scores a stunning blow.

07.jpg

Took a little too long to make up my mind ... could've gotten Azira free.

08.jpg

They moved the star ogre center. I hate this guy, he's just too good and mobile. He can practically intercept anyone running on the right... what to do?

09.jpg

And that annoying runner ... JR just can't mark AG4 dodge into empty tackle zones.

10.jpg

The other rat ogre with Wild Animal is slightly more manageable but still... blocking is +2 action for Wild Animal...thankfully Jaedar has Dodge.

11.jpg

Two failed blocks... Good stuff.

13.jpg

Even stabby gets in the act and stopped the blitz with a dodge.

15.jpg

Nothing going for the rats as turnover.

16.jpg

I like this. We got a clear path if we mark the Rat Ogre. LundB is the man for the job.

17.jpg

Whitewolf will try to destroy the pacy runners asap.

18.jpg

Only gets a KD, but moves up to mark more rats.

19.jpg

Johnny will mark the downed runner.

20.jpg

Lots of space for Azira if he can dodge out of this...

21.jpg

Naturally, he can't :x

22.jpg

Goddamit.

23.jpg

Luckily the star Ogre is out of the play with Lund marking him. Both of them actually are locked down. They have to make do with the STR 3 players they have. Good for us.

24.jpg

Whitewolf gets taken down, no injuries nor stun.

25.jpg

Hellraiser gets Ogre'd.

26.jpg

stabby.. magnificent bastard. Furries have burned ALL their rerolls.

27.jpg

Turnover!

28.jpg

Good space here, Jaedar is just gonna squeeze in and mark.

29.jpg

As well as stabs...

30.jpg

Wake up blitz by the wolf.

31.jpg

32.jpg

Fuck yeah.

33.jpg

JR marks the downed GR on the line. We're gonna inch slowly forward, burning every turn.

34.jpg

Wild Animal'ed Rat Ogre. Good.

38.jpg

Whoa, wtf -

39.jpg

BULLSHIT.

42.jpg

FUCK.

44.jpg

LundB survived two frenzy blocks by ST 6 Star Player. Fucking A. A ray of hope in the midst of all this derp. The ball is still on the floor with THREE rats looking at it.

46.jpg

More bullshit incoming at the Runner dodges out and marks the ball .... too crowded. FOUR rats overlooking the ball now.

47.jpg

This is gonna take everything to clear...

49.jpg

Azira gets up and makes himself available for TD on next turn.

50.jpg

Whitewolf, knocks down a rat, 3 more to go.

51.jpg

Jaedar KO's one. Two to go.

52.jpg

eklektyk only pushes...

53.jpg

Not too bad, two rats still marking... surmountable.

54.jpg

Ricky, with a blitz! Stun!

55.jpg

Let's just get it...

56.jpg

AND PICKS UP THE BALL with one Go-For-It! Looking good, turnover.

58.jpg

More dodges from the rats ... stormvermin even... they're getting desperate.

59.jpg

Wild animal, again. :incline: But it still maintains tackle zone, hence no free walk out for its marker.

60.jpg

LundB luck ran out and he gets stunned.

61.jpg

Two free receivers.. good good.

62.jpg

Whitewolf broke a rat jaw! Apothecary was called - badly hurt - damn.

64.jpg

Jaedar pushes!

65.jpg

Azira blitzes!

67.jpg

And scores a gouged eye!

68.jpg

Ricky is free and hands the ball to stabby...

69.jpg

No fucking around.

70.jpg

71.jpg

Hump the wall, bitches! One cock in rat's rectum!

:yeah:

03 - Too Fast Too Furry-ious

01.jpg

Gonna try to stop these guys from scoring now... Two turns. This is a hard proposition. They have the speed still.

02.jpg

Even with a few injured rats.

03.jpg

Kick it long.

04.jpg

Fans love us.

05.jpg

Nicely kicked.

06.jpg

Looks like they want to reposition their ogre, but it Wild animal-ed.

08.jpg

LundB gets stunned.

09.jpg

Now where is that problem ogre going...

10.jpg

On Gondolin. Ok on the first block... not so lucky on the second.

11.jpg

Get knocked down.

12.jpg

A Runner slips in, ready for the pass.

13.jpg

Fumbled pick up. Hnnnghhh. That's unusual for AG4.

14.jpg

See, I have 2 options here, somewhat 3. I can try going for the ball and stop it dead, but I'll need more men. Or just neutralize that lone receiver. I chose the receiver.

15.jpg

Stun. Good.
Then I got evil.

16.jpg

See that lone Star Player there? It's a golden opportunity to take him out of the game. We have enough men for a 2 dice block. We have Team Rerolls to spare. Let's do this.

17.jpg

We risk letting them score in exchange for their most powerful piece on the field - looks OK to me.

18.jpg

Don't let me down, Jaedar.

19.jpg

No RR required. It's down, uninjured tho.

20.jpg

Hellraiser knocks down a line rat, but can't really make a serious play for the ball. It's just too far.

21.jpg

Xeno can't really go anywhere and just wanders about.

22.jpg

Here comes the prize... Azira is going to stomp that bastard with 5 assists.

23.jpg

There we go. Blam! Badly Hurt! Bye bye STR 6 piece , no apothecary! Yes!

24.jpg

Turn over. What now bitches?

25.jpg

26.jpg

Blitz takes down Brother None!

27.jpg

OK, he gets it... now what?

28.jpg

Uh oh...

29.jpg

Not loooking gooood....

30.jpg

That's... fucking long...run..

31.jpg

Cmon...

32.jpg

Hell. They got the equalizer. But at least the 'Big Problem' is gone off field. Let's hope we can capitalize on the next drive.

:salute:

Wow. And all those KO's and injuries, you should be 1-5 guys up on him depending on wake up rolls after halftime (wait, maybe I didn't count the KOs properly)? Would you feel just a little bad about him being a bro and giving away the default after this if they weren't leading the series? Oh OK, he equalized, never mind.

I don't. He didn't need the points.
I'd take a draw. But he wasn't willing to budge. So yeah, I'll earn it. The hard way.

Oh, and still not spoiling the result, just saying that the next match is against an Underworld team. An underworld team that has lost 2 matches of the five played. Won the other 3. Should be innerestin'. :avatard:

He's a pretty good player IMO, but I'm sure it's less bullshit than Skaven speed. I really have trouble handling this 'you must be perfectly marking these faggots or else it's 2 turn touchdown' gameplay that the Skavens are excelling at.

Let them score

I'll be frank, that's the game plan. Let them score and play for draw. You can argue all you want, but that's our best bet. When a rat just equalized against you at half time and they're receiving on second half, you have to let them score. And no, they will not oblige and make a fast touchdown, so you have to force them.

01.jpg

Two injured for Fursecution and it's a key injury.

02.jpg

To make them score quickly, drop the ball close to the line so your own players can reach it in one turn. You'll see that even that isn't going to make them cooperative.

03.jpg

Here goes.

04.jpg

Not a bad result.

05.jpg

Good kick. Very good kick.

06.jpg

Look at that, one loose receiver there to lure a blitz. We'll take it later.

07.jpg

Hellraiser gets KO'ed by a blitz. Annoying.

08.jpg

Lund gets taken down like a sack of potatoes.

09.jpg

They got a push on eklektyk, that cleared their ball zone. Hmph.

10.jpg

As expected, get the ball and run the hell back to your own half. Burned a reroll on the pick up.

11.jpg

Wild animal on his sole Ogre Rat. Good good. Turnover. Let's play ball.

12.jpg

Gotta make them score. But first, let's take that free blitz.

13.jpg

We're gonna make it slightly difficult for them to score, by putting Jaedar next to a runner who is in 2GFI - TD position.

14.jpg

Angelo85 drops in to assist Gondolin with a takedown.

15.jpg

Just a push.

16.jpg

Hell, at least it clears a path for Ricky to mark the lone rat ogre.

17.jpg

Here comes whitewolf.

18.jpg

Two pushes. At least the rat is on the line.

19.jpg

Gonna double up with Azira to make escape a hard possibility.

20.jpg

eklektyk takes down a line rat.

21.jpg

I actually wanted to push Brother None up to mark that Gutter Runner - but ran out of time. Kinda angry about it. Now it has an easier time dodging out...

22.jpg

eklektyk gets KO'ed too.

23.jpg

Jaedar gets pushed back and the gutter runner is free.

24.jpg

Dude cannot resist using ogre to hit JR.

25.jpg

Only two pushes. :smug: DRM'ed away that knockdown.

26.jpg

Options exhausted, he decides to go for TD.

27.jpg

Handover is smooth.

28.jpg

2 GFI.

29.jpg

Burned reroll...

30.jpg

Classic Rat bullshit. But I'm not really angry. It's early. I want to score one back asap. Let's play, assholes.

Final Drive

01.jpg

eklektyk's gonna miss the final drive. Time to party folks. This is it. Fail, and we might be in for one hell of a thriller for the next two games. Win and we have a small safety margin.

02.jpg

Neutral setup. See, he's keeping that Rat Ogre free at the back, ready to snap at the incoming receivers.Thank god it has wild animal, unlike that super star. No point holding back, five on line of skirmish. Two catchers on point. Azira, just behind Whitewolf, ready to pounce. Two throwers at the back for pick up and launch ops. And no, we have no thrown a single pass in this game, and the weather is still, fucking, sunny.

03.jpg

Here goes...

04.jpg

Best KO Event ever. I'm going all out with the boot...

05.jpg

Ball read the script, landing next to Xeno. Let's roll.

06.jpg

Slam slam slam. Two line rat down, one pushed.

07.jpg

Howl of death!

08.jpg

Stuns.

09.jpg

11.jpg

We'll hit right.

10.jpg

Not the ball, not yet.

12.jpg

Hellraiser with a stomp that KO's the rat.

13.jpg

Now we can pick up the ball.

14.jpg

Safety first.

15.jpg

Last risky play as Garm has to dodge to mark the Ogre... yes, I'm throwing you in to the sacrifice...

16.jpg

Does it with no hesitation!

17.jpg

Here comes the harasser, trying to keep it 2-1...

18.jpg

Garm..

19.jpg

Survive??

20.jpg

Nope, final reroll burned just to KO that rookie. Good job, Garm

21.jpg

Oh, a blitz?

22.jpg

Jaedar will not stumble.

23.jpg

They're moving for the ball... good.

24.jpg

Throwing pushes on Lund. The rats starting to lose in terms of man power... good - turn over.

25.jpg

Ricky will try to slow them down. Force a detour.

26.jpg

Brother None to aim at that lone harasser.

27.jpg

Only gets a push, much to his great shame.

28.jpg

Whitewolf takes down a stormvermin. Freeing LundB.

29.jpg

That tireless Linesman... that immortal 0 SPP legendary linesman - will mark the beast.

30.jpg

stabs to stomp... every fucking turn we will stomp them down.

31.jpg

No injury. Bullshit. No foul call by the ref either.

32.jpg

Gondolin , setting up a 2 v 2 - comboing with Jaedar.

33.jpg

Jaedar just gets a push...

34.jpg

Xeno's gotta inch forward. Very little cover.

35.jpg

I don't think that is even remotely safe, but what do I know?
