"This message is awaiting moderator approval": All new users must pass through our moderation queue before they will be able to post normally. Until your account has "passed" your posts will only be visible to yourself (and moderators) until they are approved. Give us a week to get around to approving / deleting / ignoring your mundane opinion on crap before hassling us about it. Once you have passed the moderation period (think of it as a test), you will be able to post normally, just like all the other retards.

Better, than the test site, blander than the past.

The effect of the "first change in 20 years" seems to have taken a large step in turning RPG Codex into yet another generic-looking 2020s forum. Sure, the forum will probably remain as appropriate as ever to discuss most things without fear of reprimand or trigger-happy banning. But in terms of visual identity I don't see how it's possible to argue this change doesn't turn RPG Codex into something cheap and mainstream. The place had 20 years to bitch about the dumbing down and streamlining of RPGs, and now it seems its own turn has come.
Million times this, brind the old site back.

I love how every time this happens on any forum the admin gets bitched at for a non paying job until they eventually quit the forum years later due to being tired of fucking with nonsense for ungrateful people. Granted Taluntain gets a little too uppity from time to time and this whole thing looks ugly and is not working properly but what it has been a day or two?

I like how two lamebrains think that is cucklike thinking and one thinks it is retarded. Yes using logic instead of your feeeeeelings in situations like this is very cucklike and retarded you pathetic whining faggots. Waaaaaahhhhhhhhh. That is this forum 90 percent of the time.

Thankyou Tavar and Tarkleigh for the hex input, however it's still a pain in the arse having to re-enter the saved hex code in the colour picker box..which defaults to #FFFFF and it still doesn't always change the colour when writing, I don't know if this is a mobile specific issue? it probably is tho'.
I haven't looked on my PC yet.
Are we getting animated..(see the text has gone White again)
Opens menu
Clicks palette
Clears #FFFFFF
Enters #00FFF6
Doesn't work
Indicator moves to top of post
Moves indicator back
Opens palette
Clears #FFFFFF
Enters #00FFF6
Still white !

Anyway, are we getting animated avatars back?

Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
Btw, since Taluntain claims that the first move to XenForo already brought some changes to the design... he is technically correct about that, but the changes were much less radical than those from the recent XenForo 2 update:

Is it really the case that we can't click on reactions anymore to tell who gave them?
I was about to ask this exact question. I don't care much for the discussion as it's just raving madmen, but reactions in the form of ratings are imperative to a forum-enjoyer like myself.

They've been surprisingly composed considering the amount of shit slung their way, including the various threads whose sole purpose is to further mock and antagonise:

Would it be possible to have the buttons appear underneath each message as opposed to have to click the ''rate'' button? I know this was mentioned before but I'm not sure as to how to keep track what's on the to do list and what isn't. I think it would be more elegant than having the "rate" button.

Grab the Codex by the pussy Strap Yourselves In Enjoy the Revolution! Another revolution around the sun that is.
So there's a Shoutbox "room" for RPG discussions now? Would it be too old-fashioned for people to talk about RPGs over on the forums?

It looks like a Myspace mess that way on this new layout, I tried it, so far from elegant. The way it is now is an improvement, especially since DU keeps adding more and more of these inane ratings that take up half of an average post when laid out in their entirety.

There is a bug that if you click on a post someone rated on someone profile, it doesn't load to the post but instead to the beginning of the thread.
This problem didn't exist before.
I don't know if I'm clear.

Well, this looks better by the day! Taluntain Twiglard have you guys seen my borderless reaction icon screenshot? Are you guys going to make that change? That's one my biggest complaints with the forum view right now. Please don't forget about Zed's grouping suggestion either.

Another improvement idea: I really dislike almost all UI animations, I turn them all off on any device/OS I use, and I think I'm not alone. Can it be made an option to turn *all* animations off? The transition animations in the rich-text editor are the main offenders (for me).
