I'm mulling switching to Cachy, but every other distro I've tried in comparison to EndeavourOS has greatly disappointed me. I'm worried something will fuck up, and it will force me to return to Endeavour anyway.

If Endeavour works for you, stay with it.

Cachy is attractive to people trying to move from Ubuntu, Debian, Mint, or other distros. I haven't found anything that suggests moving from one Arch-based distro (Endeavour) to another (Cachy) leads to any kind of significant improvement.

Cachy would be my next stop if the Endeavour maintainers decide to quit.

Merida, again
Oh AI will come to Linux desktop. Just a matter of when and who will push it. One of the corpo distros? Maybe some hipster Arch derivative trying to be edgy and cool, testing the waters for an obscure patron of theirs with ties to MS. Both Red Hat and Suse are already dabbling in AI assisted desktop applications. Copilot already had a Linux client last I checked.
