So I have just today found out that my 4 disc version of PST is unreadable on my DVD player for some reason. What to do, what to do?
Get a new DVD player?

Don't buy EE, find a torrent.

Buy it on GOG, you can choose Polish version if you want (tylko nie wspieraj tych pasożytów).
If PST:EE gets any discounts in the future (like -75%, which I would be willing to pay), all the money will go to Beamdog right? Either I pay more now for some moral victory or I let Beamdog have half of less of that in the future.
Here's the thing. The original is 40 PLN on GOG right now, which while not that much, I'm not willing to pay right now for a game I owned, especially that I've finished PST for a nth time 2 or 3 years ago. However, when the PST:EE drops, the original will be withdrawn from the shop and available only for the purchasers of the Enhanced Edition.

That should be obvious but at least Beamdog won't get any money so it makes a HUGE difference. The sooner such parasitic company will go under the better it will be for everyone.I doubt that if you buy the original game from GOG any of your money go to the creators of the game, most likely you are giving all your money to Atari/Hasbro
Question: how does the dialog screen work in the EE? Does it work exactly like in the original (with endlessly scrolling text) or is it updated to be cleared after selecting a response, like in BG2 and the EEs?
First thing I saw in game back in 2000.some of which are easily missable (like the tracks in the first room of the game.)
How could you misse that? There are little hints about Dakkon.I managed to miss something
Dakkon? Poor localization. Or maybe I wasn't paying enough attention. Dunno actually, 'twas years ago, but I just remember that I missed it.First thing I saw in game back in 2000.some of which are easily missable (like the tracks in the first room of the game.)

Also, how could you not have enough CHA if Friends spell is stackable? Or it is not?
Also wtf Golden Sphere? Bronze one?
I think they should've had the balls to add the same amount of new content as in BG EE 1 & 2. People would complain, whine and hate, but at least they would've had the reason to actually buy the game. With resulting changes being so insignificant (and not really adding much over the stuff that's already available for free), I just don't see the point of actually returning to the torment. Besides, last time I played it, I was basically still a kid and I don't want to play it in the adult age, just so the charm stays as unbroken as the circle.
Sure, they probably planned to cash in on all the hype Numenera's mega-successful release will create and to play the "pristinely original masterpiece" card... Too bad there's no hype, lol. Should've known better than to bet on Fargo.
Nah. I bet it went more like:
"Shiiiet man. Sorry Numenera turned out like a turd. Hey, cheer up. Wanna play the original?"

Yeah, it's almost as if the game is designed to play in a much lower resolution.First thing I saw in game back in 2000.
Really? That's impressive. There are quite a few small things with minimal surface area to click that could be missed all over.
