I'd wager they're already working on a PST Enhanced Edition, but UE4 probably hasn't got anything to do with that. New, "non-enhanced edition" game? Definitely interesting.

What if, in a stroke of genius, Techland licensed the digital distribution rights to the original PST, pull it from GOG like Bethesda did, and fund the EE remaster and make it only available to those that purchase Tworment as a way to boost sales?

For 2.89 seconds this afternoon I had some notion that Beamdog might actually be capable of creating their own vision of a D&D classic from the past, not whoring themselves off the back off of a previous "masterpiece". I awoke from my daze.

They're working on BG3 in DnD Next?
We don't know at this point. They got more than one project in the works. One of these is using a 3d engine. Hopefully one is a D&D game. At least they proved they can make good and fun encounters with SoD even if they are not great with story. Hopefully Gaider helps with story part, he only needs to make it BG2 level story, nobody expects PST out of their classic D&D cRPG.
They are good with encounters or aVENGER is good? Only saving grace of SoD were the encounters and some nice dungeons, they can easily shit all over this by replacing people that know their shit with another unemployed SJW retard needing a job and willing to work for cheap (Most of BumDog personnel.)

Scripted waylays were better than BG2, too (not just as encounters but also for featuring a lil' exploration, sub-ARs and stat checks).

The Dwarves of Dumathoin (full coverage starts haflway through this post) and Bridgefort Besieged segments (full coverage) were campaign highlights that would not look out of place in BG or IWD.

The former dungeon-quest was entirely optional and yet completely fleshed out; they even bothered to include remote views from a scrying pool:

I enjoyed those segments more than any moment in Tyranny or TToN.

So SoD's encounters were "good". Is that "good enough a turn based combat focused game would have a hope of be worth playing" "good" or "better than everything else in their work" "good"?

Make the Codex Great Again! Grab the Codex by the pussy Insert Title Here RPG Wokedex Strap Yourselves In Codex Year of the Donut A Beautifully Desolate Campaign Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire Pathfinder: Kingmaker Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag. I'd rather stick a pineapple in my ass than play an entire game made by Beamdog
Considering you supported PoE2, my guess you let bigger things in your ass already.

So taking into account everything that Obsidian and Beamdog have produced to this day do you think an entire game made by BD will be better than PoE2?

ARE YOU SERIOUS?

I find it hard to believe they would make any content changes to PS:T other than adding cut content (like they did in Icewind Dale)
