so basically instead of killing things it forces you into some dance?

I feel the game begin more active and offense oriented, the bros are more frail, but a raised shield is not something you are supposed to just swing against. (shield perk group get a literal phalanx perk with big bonus for spearwall)
The most common new lv 1 perk is +10% hit on the head, all attacks. (steel brow is a uncommon skill, 9 lifes is a rare skill)
At lv 2 everyone can get "vigorous assault", a -1 ap attack req if you move 2 titles.
On average a bro can only get a mastery for 3 weapons, the most common being the mace, every perk fall into a group like legend, each weapon got 2 supporting perks to pick:

Concussive strikes get you a daze for 1h and a stun for 2h if you hit the head.

Can it be saved by a blacksmith in the camp maybe?
Well, according to Steam the last time I played was in 2020 but I’m pretty sure I didn’t play much at that point, so my experience goes back to 2018. So you’ll have to go ahead and test it out for us :-D

I agree that named shields shouldn’t be permanently destroyed, it just sucks that you can’t use them properly. And some of them look really great, I remember one looking like a Pavise decorated with medieval Slavic motifs.

It reads like it. Honestly the other bonusses seem underwhelming anyway. I'll get this dude (I have to chose one for a quest anyway)

Time to repair some stuff in town!

Oh yeah, sounds like that should do the trick. Glad to see that named shields are usable again.

Also nice to see that when Abelard the Fat dies wearing your God Emperor of Mankind’s armour you can still get that armour back.

Armours getting destroyed was less of an issue since when Abelard wore that kind of armour he was unlikely to die, but having the double punishment of losing both a high level bro and his top tier, extra rare armour, certainly made things too grindy, I’m glad they assuaged that pain even if just a little.

I don't get how to repair stuff at a townssmith though. I was with damaged armor at a armorer as well as blacksmith. How do you do it?

Edit: Ah I see. It's alt + right mouse

Omfg, the "installation guide" has no guide, its just "here, go ahead download and extract 20 mods, retard"...
Are they serious?!
https://github.com/Battle-Modders/mod-reforged/wiki/Installation-Guide

If you read the two sentences under the title, everything is ex^plained in the second one:

"Download and place the latest version of all the required mods .zip files in your BB data folder. DO NOT unzip any files."

But maybe you need a video guide?
