Yup. I remember I had the coordinates on a notepad document on my desktop. Never did find that ring of wizardry until years later. Which is a shame. Its perhaps the most important ring for Mages in the game.
Important?

Gives you twice as many first-level spells. So you can do more than just hide at the back for several levels.

Hyper Light Drifter was released on the same day as SoD with the same prize tag (going -10 % for 17,99). It has been a top seller on the Top Seller list and judging by https://steamdb.info/app/257850/graphs/ might have sold around 40k copies. You can maybe use this info to somehow estimate SoD sales on Steam.

I know we are seeing different things.. but.. that game has been on the front page of top sellers for 2 days.. SoD is still on page 3 for me.
BG:EE with the discount is a few rows beneath Hyper Light.

PC RPG Website of the Year, 2015 Make the Codex Great Again! Grab the Codex by the pussy Insert Title Here RPG Wokedex Divinity: Original Sin 2 A Beautifully Desolate Campaign Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag. Pathfinder: Wrath
are attributes getting used in dialogues
I saw you can avoid the fight with Porios, the guy in charge of the Sarevok followers behind the first door you have to open. I'm not sure if it's related to alignment or charisma. I don't know how is the reactivity beyond the tutorial dungeon though...

I think it's interesting to point out that container highlighting wasn't available in BG1,from what I remember. It was only added by applying mods like BGT or Tutu, and thus it's a feature that appeared on BG2 and IWD first. In fact, I believe dudley's walkhrough gave you coordinates to find stuff like the ring of protection and the ring of wizardry, among others. You had to check the coordinates with a cheat or something like that.
No, it was added in ToB. The whole of BGII didn't have tab highlight.

You need the Global list it has it on page 2 some where in the middle. How ever that is not that great this early in the life of it and from what i can tell non of the big SJW sites are talking about this game. Come Monday there will be a remark here and there i bet, but it might be to late then. Now i dont know about the rest of you, but my list on youtube dose not have any of the big names picking this game op for play so over all it looks bad.

Now they should have fucking know this would happen. You do not front load your game with tokens and things that is even close to gamer gate. Yes yes we get it you want to take a stand or be funny, but either way it is stupid and who ever wrote this needs to be punched in the throat for harming the company.

Oh and if any one from beamdog sees this punch Dee in the mouth for trying to start a fight with the codex.

HLD also had 26k Kickstarter backers. Overall, I strongly doubt that SoD has cracked 5,000 copies so far.

Trent Oyster is begging people to give positive reviews and pisses people even more.

Hi everyone. I usually spend most of my time lurking here, but I'd like to ask a favour. It appears that having a transgendered cleric and a joke line by Minsc has greatly offended the sensibilities of some people. This has spurred these people into action, causing them to decide this is the worst game of all time and give it a zero review score on Steam, GoG and meta critic. Now, I'd like to ask for that favour. If you are playing the game and having a good time, please consider posting a positive review to balance out the loud minority which is currently painting a dark picture for new players.

Complete failure on all fronts.

Bugs galore, horrible writing, more progressive bullshit agenda.Ah,the smell of complete defeat

Is Dee trying to start a fight with the Codex or advertising the Codex? I don't know Dee's history, but that line about what is acceptable and where didn't sound too bad to me.

Sending disenfranchised fanboys here is an act of war.
There's only enough room for one Immortal around here.

Wow, turns out Larian was super-smart for putting that gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay orc and man couple right near the very end of Original Sin. Only a small fraction of players got that far and no one cared.

It is the same old shit we saw from Bioware. By bringing up the name they are creating a us vs them kind of situation and more or less throwing some blame on the codex and our Tranny hating ways.

It is not about the content, but how it is presented. IF i went through 90% of a game and there where no stupid memes and then at the end there was one. Then i still had the ohter 90% of content to look back on as meme free. How ever if i am 10% into a game and i run into a meme then i do not have all the backlog of experiences in the game to temper what ever annoyance i have. NEVER EVER FRONT LOAD IT!.

Some additional insight: the Steam reviews may be focused primarily on technical issues, but the GOG reviews (which don't require you to own the game) look to be focused on the things that Trent mentioned. And again, most of the reviews are positive; but the few reviews that are negative seem to be focused on things that aren't necessarily relevant to the game's quality. (There's a couple positive ones that are similarly unhelpful.) https://af.gog.com/game/baldurs_gate_siege_of_dragonspear?as=1649904300 So from me? If you like the game, write a review and tell people what you liked. If you don't like the game, write a review and tell people what you didn't like. If you like the game but think it could be better, write that review. If you don't like the game but think it could be worse, write that review. I guess what I'm saying is, if you've played the game enough to form an opinion, your opinion is valuable to the people who haven't played the game yet, and also to the people who helped create it. Good or bad, make your voices heard. I would rather see substantive criticism about the game's technical stability or writing quality or visual art style, than a series of reviews that are focused on a single NPC's character exposition, or one character's easter egg line. If you bought the game through Beamdog.com and so don't have a venue for posting your review, why not Tweet, or Facebook, or Tumble about it? Take some screenshots and put them up on Pinterest, if that's your thing. Make a mosaic out of character sprites and use them to tell the story of your time with Siege of Dragonspear. There's 3500 people playing BG:EE on Steam right now. I don't expect all of those people to stop playing just to write a review. But if you're not playing right now, and you have something to say about your experience, why not write a review to share with the world?

Dee joins in the begging train.

Honestly that is great to see. I hope this backlash actually has a monetary effect on Beamdog and that, should they ever release a new game, they cut out the SJW horseshit.

But let's be honest :dgaider: will just double down.

Here's a hint on how to get good reviews, and more importantly, get a lot of people playing your game... Don't make shit games with shit writing and shit linear gameplay and the try to pass them off as legitimate expansions to cult classics developed by much better professionals.

You eat at the table you laid, first lesson my grandmother thaught me.

Some reviews on older games are made based on the users' memories of the original games.
It has never proved to be a problem, but GOG is way smaller than Steam. Although GOG's forums have plenty of crybabies and similar idiots....
