Hi.

Some new images to share that are making the rounds and causing a lot of excitement toward the release date. Some beautiful detail on display. I can feel the cold thickness of the shield the fighter holds out before him just as the strike is about to happen, or the rippled ridges of the ranger's godlike protrusion, to the heavy thickness of the wizard's padded armor.

Wow, they truly look llike generic slop #3947. If you said it's Veilguard or Outer Worlds 2 I'd have instantly believed it.

Hi.

Your journey brings you to Emerald Stair, an overgrown region located on the western coast of the Living Lands. The city of Fior mes Ivèrno is a haven for animancy, where animancers can research the soul in peace. Bandits and primordials alike roam in the untamed wilds of Emerald Stair. :o

Intriguing as you can make it sound, we all know that in Obsidian's deft (or daft) hands it boils down to two things - fetch quests and trash mobs, with corridor exploration.

KCD2 will be popular. It's a sequel to liked game. Also medieval setting vs weird D&D-like fantasy setting. I don't know what folks at Obsidian Entertainment are smoking, but it really shows that it must be some kind of strong stuff. The game looks like a psychodelic circus. I can imagine a person injecting marichuane in the veins and feeling that lush and overwhelming joy by absorbing this vivid stream of lights and colours coming from Awoved. Yeah, what a trip.

I'm wondering how big of an impact this game will have on that tabletop pillars of eternity game that's to my knowledge in the works.

The tabletop Pillars of Eternity isn't a real product in development, it was just a part-time hobby project of Josh Sawyer. AFAIK he's not currently working on it. Here's our thread: https://rpgcodex.net/forums/threads/josh-sawyers-pillars-of-eternity-tabletop-rpg.132384/
