Let's make some predictions. Other than the pronouns in character creation, do you think this game will be degenerate or woke in a similar way to Baldur's Gate 3 (bear fucking etc) or Dragon Age Veilguard (pulling a barve cringe scenes)? Do you think we're going to be watching uncut gameplay footage of Avowed in two months and go "Man, there's gay shit everywhere, wtf"?

It doesn't look as though the game has many (any?) traditional cutscenes. That limits what they can do in this regard. I predict it will go significantly harder than Outer Worlds in the woke direction. I'm happy to eat crow if I'm wrong.

Some specific predictions:

* At least one of your companions will be some flavor of sexual deviant (probably non-binary or pansexual).
* The "incompetent man vs hyper-competent wombyn" faction dynamic will feature at least twice.
* The most badass and legendary warrior in the setting will be female.
* If the game even dares to feature a brothel, the prostitutes will be mostly male.
* You will be given the option to flirt with male NPCs, but not with females.

This is game which first trailer, that was decent enough and built some hype which all has vanished by now, said, and I quote: "something, something and something QUEENS and Kings". Queens and Kings. Solasta has pronouns selectable. I'm strongly against the inclusion of it, though it luckily amounts to nothing and I don't believe it changes a single thing even in the official campaigns. I ranted about it before playing the game and delayed playing the game partly due to that. Nevertheless, I have never seen a Tactical Adventures dev on social media talking about how much they hope the game pisses off people that are ideological aligned (mostly) with me. Perhaps ignorance is bliss, but I'd rather not know whether they put pronouns in for ideological, malicious, or zoomer prog marketing reasons. All bad in my eyes, but some are worse than others.

I doubt the game will be any more or less woke infested than PoE2 was. But I'd rather not have a dev pissing my way intentionally prior to purchase when I don't play many games to begin with, let alone games that I fully expect to be mid at best. I never got around to Outer Worlds either.
