But rediscovering everything would be pretty much the whole point ; also, these old computers of old do not have wide distribution and this can be a strong deterrent to most people.

Okay, I am willing to settle for Amiga, Apple II, Commodore 64, and old PC clones.

Although what I miss most are the CRT and the sounds of old floppy and hard disks.

I sometimes feel nostalgic for the "gronk, gronk" sound of my Amigas floppy drive but then I remember what a total pain in the arse they were.

As a ZX Spectrum owner, we didn't get these fancy, purpose built tape recorders. We had to buy some random piece of crap and just hope that it worked.

On the other hand, at least they were faster. When they worked at all of course. Fucking turboloaders and their need for nanoseconds of arc precision with the volume control...

that Jungle Guide part in Revision 2012 was kinda shitty made, for it to be on an Amiga 500.

Silly floppy sheeple. With consoles all you had to do was plug in a cartridge and wait 10 seconds.

I was still using a tape deck when people started buying Amigas. Eventually I bought a floppy drive off some guy for a fiver. Unfortunately I didn't bother testing it out at his house first, or I would have known that it couldn't load 90% of games and chewed up most of the other floppies.
