Can't believe the above titles fit on a 1.4mb disk. I guess the PS1 was be first console to surpassed capabilities of the Amiga?

I'd say Saturn did surpass Amiga 500, and Jaguar probably would've if its design wouldn't been shit and devs wouldn't have used the 68000 processor, but instead the RISC ones.

With stock Amiga 1200, hard to say, there weren't that many games in early-mid 90s which took advantage of its strengths.

Is there any loader/frontend that I can just slap on a drive and it comes with games and images all ready and set up?

Wanna set up some emu goodness but don't want to deal with broken disk images and other shit.

??? broken disk images?
amiga emulation is one of the simplest ever, since even with the different chipsets, software was still 99% compatible.

Yeah. Disk 3 out of 5 being bust kind of situation. A TOSEC where people actually have played the game through and not just launched it to the main menu would be real nice.

Not my experience at all, there was quite a bit of fuckery to be had with certain titles. Again, being able to launch the game does not equal perfect emulation. AFAIK they only recently were able to get to cycle-correct emulation.

But yeah, I want a frontend where I can just launch the game and not touch anything at all, not set up disks nothing. No WinUAE, no WHDLOAD.

Within FS-UAE you can download a database with many presets. Then you can scan the folders where you put your tosec disks and your roms, and it automatically identify all the matching preset with the avaiable disk/roms versions.
After these 2 steps you can launch the games with a click, you don't need to configure anything. The database is continuously updated.
