Wokeness is a Jewish product, not a Chinese one. Just like you are a product of a donkey mating with a toothless whore.
It's post-Western*. Originally (and largely still) a WASP product with Jews using second-mover advantage and the usual outdoing the WASPs while trying to keep up with them since they lack the WASP sense of proportion.
But it's Chinese money and influence fanning the flames to an extent unanticipated by those who only wanted their cut, not to burn down the whole house.
* - deracination has been the key to the global ruling class (Chinese are poised to obsolete this, though Indians are seeking to weaponize it for themselves) since it rationalizes their status (mostly in their own eyes, which was all that mattered due to their unrivaled power) as uniquely neutral arbiters among the nations. They alone had cut themselves off from their own history, culture, people, and traditions. That cutting off (via defamation) is what wokeness is. Thru wokeness they deracinate themselves (the woke) while re-racinating (and thus discrediting) everyone else. But that cutting off itself has left them almost inconceivably incompetent and delusional, which creates a vacuum others are busily filling.
It's a confluence of interests between global-level financial elite WASPs and Jews, which is being taken advantage of by the Chinese. The former part is in some sense a Marxian-style systemic unfolding of the internal logic of capitalism, in some sense a thing that's been egged on by Jews for their own purposes. The natural tendency of liberalism and capitalism is to result in an atomized society where people consider themselves as individual (consumers) only, and to destroy the foundations of any type of possible resistance to the progress of global capitalism (which would primarily come from the various nationalisms and populisms, which is why they're public enemy number one for globalism).
You are right that some of the elites are self-alienated in this way, but it's mostly the White elites who have drunk their own Kool-Aid; the Jewish elites remain staunchly racially aware, and for them the idea is to see
everyone else deracinated, but Jews remain a coherent group with a coherent group's tremendous advantage against a bunch of useless, floundering individual faggots. That way Jews as a racial group eventually come out on top.
The Chinese are taking advantage of the decoherence, but I'm not sure they have any deeper plans. As far as I'm aware, they're concerned mostly with securing their own business, and always have been. They don't need territory, they've got plenty of it, and they are capable of autarky; they are concerned merely to keep it.
