I challenge any old faggot here to a match in an FPS for money. If it's not CS/CS:S/CS:GO/Quake then just give me 2 months and they won't touch me.

I could, theoretically, abdicate my responsibilities as champion of SDG and transfer them to someone else of my choosing.

But in order to do so I would need approval from both him and you. I'd also probably attach my own mini-quest as a condition. Something simple, though; maybe forcing him to reach the first town in Fallout on his Steamdeck or something like that.
Give up the dream. I couldn't even figure out how to use the steam deck's desktop mode, let alone get a old ass game like Fallout running on it. If I could and I felt motivated enough I bet I could easily do it. Those old CRPGs aren't nearly as difficult as you people make them out to be. I've accomplished far more difficult things in my gaming life. I just wasn't interested in crap like that back then.

SDG by nominating everyone, you have failed to choose a champion. Therefore your champion will be King Crispy.

King Crispy and I will determine a time and date convenient to both of us where we shall battle for your discouragement.

If King Crispy wins, your discouragement will be lifted. If he fails, you will remain discouraged until a new champion arises.

DU probably just lost another match to a porn game developer and now needs to use Crispy as a punching bag again to build up his self-esteem.

I haven't played UT in 20 years, but I can play for SDG if @Crispy is not up to the task.

Not that I care about that retard, but I care about the drama.

isn't there more drama in getting SDG to try and play UT? On his steam dick no less?
That's a pointless endeavor, he is too retarded to redeem a steam cd-key, he wouldn't be able to figure out how to switch weapons in UT.

Yeah, exactly my point.

how does rpgcodex have a duel like this in fps game?
something like homm3 or nwn would be more fitting

though, ut is fun
pathetic sdg can't fight for himself
unless it's like a "how much $$ can i spend on cosmetics in d4" contest

Sad DU is a UT fanboi.
I'd play for SDG if we could settle on Quake 3 OSP.

Isn't it because UT was the hot shit back in the day when people were fight challenging each other?

I can't actually remember the details but I'd never played UT online until then.

I never really got into Unreal Tournament, I played some Quake 3 multiplayer but it wasn't until some mods for Half-Life: Counterstrike, Day of Defeat, The Specialists, and Action Half-Life, and Starsiege: Tribes Renegade mod that I really got into multiplayer FPSs.

I'm pretty sure the money was at Quake 3. Fatal1ty comes to mind, who had his own pro-mouse and -pad sponsor. As well as others like Lakerman, Cooller etc.
But UT was definitely quite popular as well. I just played Q3 duel religiously for years. And in order to relax I played TDM in a clan, and Rocket Arena 3 as well as osp clan arena. :p

Quake 3 was for sweaty tryhards, CS was the harbinger of decline, it was what the equivalent of modern CoD kids played.
