When do the vendors restock?
They do not. Wonder if it's a bug or not. Probably not with all that ammo should be scarce design. Which brings to meta game "buy everything you need from a faction vendor before you gonna wipe them out"
or like in The Bizarre case, before even they're wipe them out themselves
Well, I think one of the best builds might be Fire focused. You can stack a crazy number of damage modifiers:

Background: Disciple of the Metal: +15% Fire
Quirk: Pyromaniac: +25% Fire/Explosive
Weird Science: +30% Fire/Energy/Cold
Heating Element (Toaster Repair): +25% Fire
Awareness: +35% Ranged (would not work for Molotov Coctails, I guess)
Microwave Research (Weird Science): +0,5 damage per enemy Armour point

That's 130% bonus damage! (plus some extra depending on enemy armor). The only category that can compare is melee/brawling.

And while you can obviously use it for your flamer and molotov coctails, I think you can mod any weapon to deal fire/cold/energy damage! It'll loose 10% damage (and with Fire be 30% less effective vs robots/synths), but will have full Penetration (and be 30% more effective vs organics!).

A Fire modded heavy machinegun with those abilities should be quite deadly...
Haven't mod a machinegun yet but even with all thouse perks (except for microwave research) flamethrowers suck. Range is short obviously, damage is just too low and fire "tick" only after enemie's turn so they still can do their stuff before they die which is annoying. Debuff 4-5 foes -15% thc at once is kinda nice though and you can do it within the same turn with machinegun.

I get zero use out of shortrange weapons because enemies will just kill them in one turn on supreme jerk. Only one that stays alive is my high HP/evasion brawler. Sniper+brawler probably make up >70% of my team's kills.

Also, Major Tomcat. That kitty is a tank.

Yeah, armor and even flat HP are useless on SJ. But covers+evasion+lucky evasion+smoke grenades are not. My gunslinger girl manage to deal suprisingly lots of damage given how fragile she is.

They don't.

I think this is not true Im quite sure at least Ranger HQ ammos restock (bought all missiles and after revisiting later there were more missiles available)

Are really based on luck,if you find good shotgun, they are very useful late game. But early and mid game they are pretty much useless.

Yeah I agree handguns were more useful early game. My best weapon endgame (beside 1k dmg bazooka) was modded energy shotgun with -1ap per shot and +8 meter range I could shoot 5-8 times each turn and range coverage was close to half screen :)

I believe they update their stocks or something, but i have noticed that the rest of vendors don't restock. Tho it is possible they restock ammo, haven't looked at that. Still it is shame since you never end up buying anything from them, outside of ammo.

They are useful trough out the game,i do used them to finish enemies that end up with a few hp and not worth a full attack from more expensive ap weapons. To be honest the assault riffle was the biggest fart of all the weapons.

Fun fact, assault rifles are the best weapons in W2 DC Supreme Jerk by a huge stretch. If it wasn't for the ammo scarcity I wouldn't even bother with anything else.

Also yeah, I'd rather swing a salami at mobs than using early shotguns.

There's a lot of old laws, old ways of doing business that just haven't caught up with everything yet. We can put the soundtrack on Spotify. That's okay. But putting out a DVD is not.

Ah, thought so.

We ended up putting a warning, if that's the right word... A disclaimer, at the front of the game, saying anything that matches up with today's political events is purely coincidental and was written years ago. Even down to the language and things that were happening, things were so on the nose that we were afraid people would say, "Did they change their game in order to sell more copies to take advantage of the political climate?" And that's not something we would do. We had to put a disclaimer in there, and we even took some things out. We're writing for this crazy post-apocalyptic universe, and here's reality catching up. Even down to the fact that the game talks about "defunding the Marshals" in the game! They're gonna think we did that on purpose, but we didn't. It was written years ago. We didn't want people to think we were doing it on purpose.

:hmmm:

Maybe it was all removed, but I don't think I've encountered anything yet that felt like a commentary on modern politics.

the game met my expectations and It is definitely not at a level that cannot be played. It got an 10/8 point from me. I keep play gaming, by the way, the musics is really great.

Bonus:

Early prediction:
Cyberpunk 2077 is very weak mechanically. No hope in vampire. Result: 2020 Best rpg: wasteland 3 hahah Hey, fargo. You're okay again.

(How did that happen. I did not understand too.)

There's the explanation why is W3 the only major recent American game without a whiff of wokeness.

It was written years ago.

I guess W4 will be chock full of stunningbravery and male toxicity and everything will be normal again.

I wouldn't count on it. If the clowns keep this up, the game won't have a gender option, every NPC will have a preferred pronoun and the guns will be water guns because the real things would be "too triggering" (heh).

One thing I'm finding (in my personal experience) annoying in the game is the "Alpha Strike syndrome", meaning you either nuke half of the enemy away in the first turn or you lose the encounter. Just seems like bad design that your characters are so squishy.

Yeah chars are p. squishy.

For some reason inXile has terrible time trying to design a functional and fun armor system. In W2 everybody was just running around naked from mid-game on because against energy weps armor was positively lethal. Here you can never keep ahead of enemy armor penetration, so armor is only useful if it gives you skills and stats. So far tho on Ranger it's not a huge problem, mobs don't hit THAT hard.

On Supreme Jerk you rather build avoidance aka Speed+Coord become golden stats for your rangers. Armor is just a luxury to maybe save you from 1 shot if RNGesus decide to murder you.

Is there a way to finish the Faran Brygo quest without a huge fight?

There is a dude with a computer that controls the ventilation system and seems you can sabotage it but I cant get to the computer, he doesnt let me access it.

Yes.

You need to
agree to investigate on MacTavish in the machine shop with Brygo's goon at the bar, then go to the shop itself and, after dealing with MacTavish, search it for a note that proves Brygo knew about the attack. After that, go back to Little Vegas, instigate the fight between two bar patrons and the guy guarding the computer will run in to try and stop them. After doing that, go to the computer and hack the ventilation system, then use it as leverage to have Brygo peacefully come along.
Thanks.
I thought that if you accepted the deal with his goon, you were forced to not arrest Brygo.

Cassandra Khaw and the Torment: Tides of Numenera writing team thank you for the vote of confidence! :P "Years ago" here means 2016-2018, it's not some Obama era thing.

Though interestingly, the Writers section is way down below the Senior Writers in the credits, as if they're far less important.

I blindly stumbled into an alliance with Brygo and so far it was p. fun working with the cartel. They've set shop in my base and giving me quest to expand their empire. The writing is entertaining.

I've seen people fapping to Wasteland 3, but I'd like to hear the truth now: is Wasteland 3 a real, good RPG?
So far it meets the basic notes and is better than Wasteland 2, but if your definition of good rpg is something that deserves being on the codex top 10, then no, it isnt. It deserves 7/10 mostly because there are a ton of skill checks, faction choices, different ways to deal with encounters but the major problem so far is that it is decent on a ton of stuff that it does but it isnt exceptional at anything. I think it is better as a RPG than the DOS games so far though.

7/10 lol.

Codex Top 10 is distilled nostalgia. Both W2 and W3 are bigger and mechanically vastly more complex than Fallout 1 and the writing in both is easily comparable. People only adore Fallout because it was their first game of this kind. If it launched next week Codex' cynicism and edginess would go into overdrive.
