May 1998, Jakarta.

Heath of Indonesia; a land of opportunity, perhaps, for those of whom that are seeking.
Yu-Chen He, a Taiwanese accountant in dire need of work, went out to look for his fortune.
Hired eventually by his old friend, Zi-Jin Wan, Yu-Chen then attempts to settle in this place.
Many new faces are met, and it was through them that Yu-Chen began look into himself in a different manner.

Yu-Chin Wan, the little daughter of Zi-Jin, questions where her home truly is, and her self identity.
Pin-Hong Miao, a going-to-be mother, a Chinese teacher, contributes her love to all future generation.
Melati, the little girl from local Indonesian family, best friend of Yu-Chin, has her biggest wish as world peace.

It was not a peaceful place.

Fire. The smell of burning metal and rubber.
Peace. Peace. Peace. People speaks. In the form of violence.

"Aku mencintaimu", they say.

Perhaps it was because of race. Perpahs it was because of wealth.
Perhaps it was because of culture. All of them led into hatred.

"Quid est nomen eius?", they also ask, in the name of faith.
There may, or may not be a reply.

The government of Taiwan had placed its citizens under the ruling of martial law for 38 years; even through the status had been lifted back in 1987, remnants of that era remain. It is our hope that we will be able to change our society through words and stories,

The option is there, but it only removes the actual faecal matter. The scene still plays as normal. And for some reason, piss is shown despite the setting.

Well I have to agree, a chick drinking your piss to finish up a no-mess blowjob is super romantic, while eating your turd is kinda gross.

I guess I never figured to check for it in the options and skimmed through because I didn't think the game would let you off that easily. :M

Time to play through it again for better comprehension of the plot. I didn't really catch all of the backstory with a certain organization, hoping the translation will clarify matters a bit more.

Nemu is pretty much Beatrice, as far as I could tell. :M

Yeah, it's a Muv-Luv spin-off. Not sure how the heck you saw the distinctive ML plug suits and BETA and didn't think it was an actual ML game.

God damn, every VN I ever try to play I quit like 60% through because they hold my interest intensely, but I just get fed up with how absurdly verbose and jammed full of unnecessary details they are. Case in point: I recently dropped Chaos;Head for the second time because the plot was simply going no-where for a good 5-10 hours. I thought it started off excellent - I loved the premise of a NEET/hikki sleuthing some crime on the web from the comfort of his anime merchandise crammed habitations. I've always loved" internet horror", if you could call that a genre. But no, we've got to go in every direction at once. I'm sick of this shit. It had such promise.

I guess Maou isn't as bad as it could be, at least they didn't magically make them not have sex at all.

Would kinda be hard considering the story line

But still, this one had a pretty funny sex scene w. Haru, real shame if that was completely wiped out. Even bigger shame that there is no uncensored release at all. Damn nips.

And once you realize that a game about training enslaved female ninjas into whoredom has a script that is almost twice as long as something "respectable" like Never 7 or Swan Song...

Euphoria is ambitious, but maybe too ambitious.

Yeah, I have to agree that the writer(s) definitely bite off a bit too much to chew. The scenario itself is very fascinating and they have strong characters, with relatively minor rewrites this could be turned into a really good book for example.

cRPG makers should learn from those guys; using high school harem to fund your mech game or hard core scat etc. fetishes to get your ambitious sci-fi story out. Any means necessary, hehe.

And in Kanae's route, Nemu wins the bet despite Keisuke repeatedly choosing Kanae over her. This whole situation being opposite intents and results just confused the hell out of me as I was reading.

Their bet seems to be that they actually switch personalities. Nemu tries to push the protagonist repeatedly into choosing Kanae whilst Kanae is extremely disappointed when Keisuke keeps loving "her" no matter what (the 4x "I love you" part). Certainly not very logical, but eh.

The worst part was to find out that Nemu's personality wasn't like that at all. She was way, way more interesting in the game than in "reality".

Playing currently Ace Attorney series on 3DS (DS games). Finished 1-3 and i am half into 4 in just a 2 weeks.
Gotta say it is one of the best VNs i played.

first one is absolutely stellar all around and last chapter is amazing
second one has worse beggining but final scenarios also are great
third one has worst start but end scenario reaches Ace1 final chapter quality

4one is outside of trilogy above starts mediacore, and so far it is mediacore, though i think again end will be good stuff considering how each Ace Attorney game chapters are important to get that last story in each game.

Tried demo for 5th one and it also seems interesting.

Though some of those games have literally rubberduck(from TLJ) like answers for problems.

And you haven't even got to the best title yet: Gyakuten Kenji 2

Oh, didn't know those games even exist.

BTW people. Recently (just few days ago) hacking team of few people beat New 3DS security and they showed everyone how to get N3DS to 9.2 firmware that allows you for everything (backup coppies, proper homebrew, proper emulators etc). Currently developers at GBAtemp are working on implementation and few other people are figuring out master keys and apperently they already got keys to important parts so emuNAND 9.6+ is possible (emulated N3DS system which will allow you to get updates, play online etc).

TLDR. N3DS is now completely broken (hack team annouced it days ago and people work on implementation currently). Current ETA is something like start of january by which time you will be able to do anything with your N3DS (like original 3DS with firmware 9.2).

Anyone had a chance to try out Gahkthun of the Golden Lightning (herp.)? Any gud?

It's fairly decent. Has good atmosphere.

I enjoyed the whole game but I think the ending was slightly disappointing. Felt like they developed things really well for half the game then released that they only planned for the game to X words long and then couldn't really work in the planned ending properly.

It's by far the best VN translated this year though in my opinion.

If you liked Sharnoth you'll like Gahkthun because it has very similar strengths and similar flaws

Finished a Black Lilith game.

Unavoidable rapes aside, only way to get the "good" ending was choosing giving head to a horse and getting raped by dogs rather than Orc impregnation.

Who comes up with this shit?
Sounds interesting, does it have Guro? Guro is the only 2d porn I fap to these days.
