Depending on your interpretation, this is either a male-to-female tranny or a female-to-male tranny.

This must be that deep roleplaying and crafting your own history that we keep hearing so much about.

You know, I've never actually seen Swansong's gameplay and after seeing it, I'm surprised someone okayed it.

Holy mother of cringe.
It's a narrative RPG like their previous game The Council which did well enough, nothing necessarily wrong with that.

I played it recently and thought it was mostly all right. Too many ancient queer radical feminists and black vampires for my preferences, but that's what the setting is now.

This is the typical in-game face model:

I could barely watch four seconds of this unadulterated crap, nevermind stomach the whole game. You have much stronger tolerances than me.

Holy mother of cringe. Seeing these screenshots are enough to radicalize someone.

I had the displeasure of actually playing Swansong and can confirm it's pure cringy shit. The shittiest game I've played in a very long time if not ever. It leans heavily on writing but the writing is fucking abysmal there. But not only that, obviously speaking.

I haven't played Swansong though I did play The Council and liked it. Swansong seemed to be shit so I stayed far away. Seems I was right. I already wasted my time with Vampyr, so I got burned once.
As far as I'm concerned there's only 1 vampire game worth your time: VTMB 1.
VTMB 2 looks like dishonored but bad. The hub looks pretty vertical and seems like you can go to the rooftops, explore a bit....meh, like I said, dishonored.

They included a fat feminist vampire, but gave her a very pretty thin face, she "carries it well."

I have nothing against feminist lesbian vampires ;), but when one of the few levels of the game is basically just a replay of how their relationship went, it's a little much...

I loved Galeb's story and Leysha's was also all right. Emem and everything related to it was a black hole of cringe, yes, but it can end with a great deal of those cringe characters dead, so I liked that.

You can ignore those memories entirely, I did. Got an amusing scene afterwards when they meet up again, Hilda expresses shock over being called Babe and Emem is devastated to learn that they broke up a long time ago.

I gave the game a chance and it striked out lore wise before I even got to the first gameplay section. The characters act like college students instead of centuries old vampires.
