Yeah, I'll be mildly optimistic even with the (likely) reduced RPG mechanics.
BG3 is more an outlier in regards to big game publishers developing hardcore CRPGs unfortunately. I'd love to be proved wrong though!

I've been contemplating that recently. It's not just Bloodlines, a lot of people have difficulty portraying characters that act in competent leadership positions. Everyone knows how a bad boss acts, but very few people seem to know how to portray a good boss (good enough to retain power)
If Ventrue are Embraced for leadership, the most important trait should be their ability to understand what their subjects want, their strengths and their weaknesses. Ventrue, more so than Toreador, should be the most empathetic clan. Where Toreador are sensual, Ventrue should be as close to you as your family doctor. That's what makes a good leader, someone who can convince you that working for them is the best way to get what you *both* want. The current portrayal of Ventrue as extremely aloof and self-important is literally the *worst* traits a leader would have, which means none of them would actually be leaders.

As much of a dick as Trump is, I do think he “gets” people much better than his democratic counterparts. Musk isn’t a political leader, just our generations great genius for better or for worse.
I also agree the Ventrue should be portrayed different. With Presence and Fortitude they should be coming off like Charles Dance’s Tywin Lannister rather than Lacroix.
