Is Seattle a Camarilla or Sabbat town?
Seattle wasn't really a big thing in VtM,all I can remember about it is that Petrodon the Nosferatu Justicar lived there until he was killed of course so it was a Camarilla city.If they are using Seattle then it will probably be because it will be mostly a blank slate
Seattle seems like a strange choice to me. Why would they want a blank slate in this context? Wouldn’t the entire point of buying an IP like WoD be to use the extensive and tried-and-tested setting so they don’t have to create everything on their own, from scratch? I mean, what is Seattle famous for? Rain, grunge, hipsters, tech companies, and...Shadowrun? It might, in fact, be the least “gothic” place on the planet.
I would much prefer San Francisco as the game’s backdrop, being more iconic and richer in history. Yes, the town is full of degenerates and subversives, but to me that’s actually fitting for a VtM game. It’s not like Paradox would have a problem with ramming their politics down the player’s throat in any setting, and in SF it might actually feel slightly less forced.
