Anybody finished the Tectum Carvos fortification thing? Made two runs with bunch of obsidian and obs blades + two mining equipement and like 60 medical supplies. And the fortification counter is only at 60 out of 400 or something. :negative:

c7f4c491a9cded94215d7a487144dc4107df3bf9.jpg

Hey everyone,

We are putting out another round of fixes today. Though the list is shorter than usual, it has some bugs on it that we've been trying to squash for a while now. Hopefully, they won't cause any trouble from now on.

Important Note
: Considering the extent of these improvements there is little to no chance that we broke nothing in the process. Assume that we did not want to make anyone's life harder. If you see something amiss, please flag it to us using the usual channels, like the inbuild reporting tool (F1 button), forums, and our Discord server.

Now let's jump into the details:

--------------------------------------------------

  • New Jagged Waste codex entry added to all vagri

  • "Less than a stack" drag&drop exploit is no longer possible
  • The issue causing various New Game related anomalies like ruined Velarias or Fort Larius has been fixed so it should not reoccur in the future
  • 'Cull Their Ranks' now shows the correct number of deployable companions
  • Withdrawing money from the outpost causing a crash fixed
  • Mount crew stats not showing up when 'All mounted' is now fixed

  • AI taking too long in Companion Combat is still being looked at by the team

Coming Up Next
Bug fixing continues. Meanwhile, the team needs to regroup and assess things post-release, so this time we'll just say that our plans will be revealed soon.

Stay tuned and conquer the wasteland!

Yes,there is a place where you could check at what progress you are. It was in the quest menu but in another tab. There was quests tasks and another one. In it there is different things that fallow your progress and reputation with different people. You need a lot of shit to deliver. I just cheated it by fixing the amount of supplies with cheatengine and spammed supplies till they got enough.

Are there any dlc s planned for it? I'd like to play the finished product, a gold edition of sorts.

1.How to successfully complete the Trial for fire tribe? You need to make a proper gift at the beginning or what?
2.And did anyone beat Demon Lord in hot sorceress' questline? He is just immune to physical attacks and wipes all my party out before I can do any significant damage to him.

You have to do all the things in the proper way for the fire quest. Just save before you begin going up and be logical lol.

I believe that the spirit blessing from any of the tribes or the blessing from the undead god in any of the big cities, will make him hittable. But yeah,it is hard battle. Also he could be hit by magic, just have the shield dude and the ork in the front defending while nuking him with the mage chicks.

They put in some real effort but it did not impress me. They have taken a lot of inspiration from Pirates! but it fails to grab me.

But I was never a fan of those branching narrative games because then I'd rather read a good book.

Kenshi is a better game imo.

Still playing this occasionally, seem to have done almost all the quests though. Really great game for immersion and writing. The rest is okay and in particular the caravan supply/manpower management is good.

Doesn't seem like it, I turned in my report to the authorities but still have dreams.

Same here,it never advanced beyond that. It seems such a limp dicked move by the devs. Make an interesting hook that makes people think that it is the main story of the game, and then ever advance it beyond a simple quest.

A New Build is OUT - Patch 1.0.16 - Codename: Lil' Bugger
This patch brings new features and changes to existing mechanics

Hey everyone,

While our team is recovering from Covid/other illnesses, we finally managed to pull together a patch worth of bug fixes. More fixes are coming soon, but for now, let's take a look at what else we're working on.

Merch Shipped Soon
Despite all the hurdles (production issues, massive paper shortage, etc.) our Vagrus-related merchandise is in the last stages of production. Shipping will start as soon as we receive the finalized items from the printing factories. We are sorry about the delays, it has been a difficult road to get here.

Should you be interested in placing a last-minute order, you can do so on our Fig page making a $1 pledge and shop for 'Add-Ons'. Note that considering all the global shipping issues we can hear about on the news, we cannot guarantee delivery before the Holidays.

Now let's jump into the patch details:

Spent the last week or so with this one. I'm very impressed - the writing in the prologue in particular was really great. Not excellent in a florid way, but it displays an easy competence all the way through. Concepts like the Last Pilgrimage are interesting, worldbuilding is good but derivative, has a lot of soul overall. Would be interested to know if the writer has worked on anything else, I get the impression he's some guy who's honed his skills GMing tabletop games for 15 years before this.

Main game is a lot less impressive, and it's telling that it's most enjoyable when you're doing CYOA-style story sections in the cities. Trading and delivery jobs are pretty braindead, supply management becomes extremely wearisome. Combat is fine but nothing special.

Am, however, very pissed off with the game atm, as I think I've hit a Wiegraf from Final Fantasy Tactics style softlock that might fuck me for the rest of the game. I know the devs have played up the 'this is a serious game for serious gamers be prepared to die' angle in the marketing, but that really doesn't suit here. I'm about 40 hours in, if this is a softlock I am definitely never replaying exactly the same content for 40 hours to get to the same point. It's fine if you die over and over in Dark Souls, you are never more than 5 minutes away from the boss. Obviously terrible if you're playing a linear story-driven RPG. I don't know if the devs are aware they've created a linear story-driven RPG (maybe they think they've created a roguelike) but they have.

Completed
Finduraath's companion quest after several tries, 4 fights in a row of increasingly difficult bullshit
. Once completed, a day passes in the story, rest menu happens. Game for some reason doesn't autosave. Go to next settlement, attacked by sandwyrms. Use beast lures to reduce chance of encounter to 0% - 4 of my wounded companions die for a reason I cannot understand. Cannot load autosave, most recent save was directly before I completed the quest that took like 5 increasingly long tries. Game uninstalled. Negative reviews left on Steam, GoG and Goodreads. Death threats sent to dev. Anger still not sated.
