Consider their perspective - they did say they were banned from everywhere else. Getting banned for trolling your own game's thread with alt accounts is an accomplishment most devs simply aren't dumb enough to achieve.

it's almost as entertaining as the whole corven thing...even lord bitchish gave support for that! i cannot recall if he did for this one, i sorta recall a pixelated portrait of him somewhere recently.

These bad acts are a direct legacy of Lord Bullshitshow's own disasters.

If he was a good designer at all instead of a serial lifter, then the supposed mentoring of Corven wouldn't currently be in an absolute mess of the dude's life. But that was what happened to three of LB's own companies because of failure to retain liquidity, with employees having to find new places to work when he milks the publisher in post-sale goldbricking. For his supposed wealth, LB could have helped his "partner" for little at all.

For these two who put themselves on a San Franshitshow poop map as the dee-dee-dee version of Double Fine, LB would have probably have given them the Portalarium PR Trainwreck Handbook instead of looking anything like "Best Game Designer Ever" who could help anyone else at all - and probably did. (Of any Ultima era where LB had any relevance to GOOD design this would have been it, because it wasn't for trying to copy Prince of Persia for an RPG in Ultima 8.)

How many times has Lord Blockchain tried that crap since Neverdie? For a dude who REEES Trump Cult a lot on X, he certainly has been a far more negligent, cultish, and scammy leader with even worse record at business, especially the real estate part and who owns property in his head while his businesses burn down around him. His presence was supposed to mean someething for writing while I'm reading the intro to Corven wondering when the Avatar did drunken hit-and-runs on girls and stalked them like Aqualung in the hospital without getting arrested.

The (very) basic storyline is that you, the protagonist, are an underachiever, plagued by inner demons, failing. You end up hitting a girl with your car while driving drunk and it eats you up inside. She is in a coma and you visit her every day until one day a crow shows up and ends up leading you through a portal into the world of Corven.

There has been even less premise shown for this game.

To many hopeful cultists and ignorant noobs, these acts must seem like an 18-carat run of bad luck. Truth is... the games were shitshows from the start.

And we have other shitshows we can laugh at.
(While we play real games.)

NONE of these disasters will ever be able to "diversify" because they have made ruining customer trust by pissing into the beginning beggar's bowl the staple of their enterprise.

That is their career; that is their legacy.

Anyway, since they're reading this, its called a cost of doing business. They charged you a cut off the top as service fees for running the campaign, advertising and content hosting, and collections of funds.

Try getting your monthly service charges refunded from the bank when you're overdrawn and getting hit with NSF surcharges. And are basically being billed for services when you have no money. I'm sure it'll go well.
