If you like visual novels, and batshit crazy scenario, sure.what to play until release? can't even waste time in ddo because they broke it. is 13 sentinels gud?
It is a spritual successor to Ogre Battle, so I don't know what you were expecting. This game looked like my wet dream. Imagine my surprise when it turned out the battles are solved automaticaly, without player control. I mean, what the fuck is this?
Just don't use auto-battle?I guess I had wrong expectations, watching the trailers I thought it's somewhat like Fire Emblem, but in 2D. What's an apeal of such a games? This is real, non-judgmental question.
without player control
Isn't Fire emblem pretty much the same? You just order an unit to attack another and what weapon to use, if they learned an active skill, the characters use them in battle by themselves, I think only more modern Fire Embles like Engage had actually any "skill" for the player to use. If anything, Unicorn Overlord offers you more control, as you can customize unit more, with weapons, armor and accessories, aswell as allowing you to set up condition for skill usage, target priority, skll priority or if they will use any skill at all, as well as having Valor skills that are used outside of combat that ranges from attacks and healing spells to utility stuff like stealing money or summoning mercenaries.I thought it's somewhat like Fire Emblem
What, uh... what do you think happens in Fire Emblem?I guess I had wrong expectations, watching the trailers I thought it's somewhat like Fire Emblem, but in 2D. What's an apeal of such a games? This is real, non-judgmental question.
I've played only 3 Houses, you got control over your squad during battles there. What, uh... what do you think happens in Fire Emblem?I guess I had wrong expectations, watching the trailers I thought it's somewhat like Fire Emblem, but in 2D. You're misunderstanding what goes on in this game. You control the individual characters on the map, including having them deploy special moves and items and such. Each of those is just an entire squad rather than an individual as they are in FE.I've played only 3 Houses, you got control over your squad during battles there. What, uh... what do you think happens in Fire Emblem?I guess I had wrong expectations, watching the trailers I thought it's somewhat like Fire Emblem, but in 2D. Setting up your units, and finding the most effective way to vanquish the enemy. Slowly taking over enemy territory, and defeating previously insurmountable obstacles.I guess I had wrong expectations, watching the trailers I thought it's somewhat like Fire Emblem, but in 2D.
