For the sake of honesty, that's not its original name. You can freely rename minions and I think that's pretty fitting considering what it is and what it wants to mate with.

Not that I think it would be a bad purchase if you go ahead:M

Shit, now I gotta wait 30 days to see if the price comes back down.
Unless you're truly poor, or so busy with other things that waiting doesn't matter, just get it. $25 is already a huge discount for the value here. I had the same impulse to wait and see if I could get $5 off or whatever, then thought "What am I doing?" Spend the $5 for a "not waiting 30 days ticket". I'm glad I did.

It's a good thing though. They really need and deserve that money. I probably worry more about their finances than they do.

I honestly worried that at some point they will tell us they wont be making more content. This game is that good.

It says first season at games full name no? That'll mean more seasons I hope!
Thogh game already has more than enough content. It really puts western AAA++++ devs to shame.

+Soundtrack, fucking A. Loving most of it and jukeboxes around make it much more better. Can't comment on Korean VO since I understand nothing :D
+Huge variety of options to carve gameplay as you like, superhuman speed animations and other QoLs helps to overcome boredom of farming.
+Huge variety of passives and loot. My hear skipped a beat when I saw the first set item <3
+Colourful characters and story. Reallly connects you with your party and even enemies. Playing with them seldom is also a nice touch. Huge selection of waifus is a big bonus.
+Huge maps with huge battles, one of them epic boss hunting maps I was battling on 3 fronts, nearly a 30 men battle. Sacrfices made by VLPD that won't be forgetten.:salute:
+While maps are always the same its good to have that much mission objective variety. Especially when paired with quests.
+Game always comes up with new. Taming creatures was a nice suprise for me.

-Always online thing needs to die. Thanks to my 4th world internet I sometimes had wait to contiune playing after a sudden DC. At least save and checkpoint systems are good.
-Loading times are a somewhat long, not quiet bothersome since missions are long but while walking between places it becomes a bit annoying.

I really suggest this game to any tactical game/ RPG lovers. You're missing a lot of fun if you don't play this one.

Its not just the maps, its the entire mission design thats brilliant. No mission feels the same as any other mission, theres always something different, both narratively and gameplay wise. Be it new enemies, original encounter design fun and quirky interactions between characters, theres always something good, game never overstays its welcome. By the time you are done you want to keep going.

I know they are adding a water user as dlc. And that the second season is already planned, and teased at the end of the first game.

My resolve crumbled and I bought this before Fell Seal and Battle Brothers expansions came.

Does this game have much proc-gen loot?
I hate it when I have to sort through inventories full of electrified freezing fan of nipple shining and other crap that may have slightly better stats than my equipped crap.

Yeah, managing all the random loot could get tiresome pretty fast.
One way to deal with it is to completely disregard any loot with stats not contributing directly to 1 or 2 stats of your character's role preference.
For example, I turned Albus into a counter-attacking tank, so I was not even looking at any gear that would not increase his Block and Dodge.
At level 42 I'm still using a level 15 sword that gives flat 15% bonus to block. Although I have had it upgraded several times.

There's an interesting mechanic in the game. If you don't OCD collect all loot boxed during a mission, their content is not forfeit, but you can buy it at a discount from an enterprising trader.

You'll be pleased to learn that the crafting station has some nice filters on it. I set the bench to filter for everything more common than Rare or weaker than two "stars", whatever stars mean. Then I hit the "recycle all items" button over and over. This leaves me with only the cream of the loot and a ton of recycled materials for upgrading the stuff I actually use. I'm sure I'm missing some amazing lower-tier items but it's simply not worth my time to spend dozens of hours looking at lists of tiny numbers when I could be exploring the fascinating mastery system instead. Of course I play on "Merely Hard" difficulty so YMMV.

Yeah, theres even an ingame reason, every god damn mechanic in this game is tied to the narrative somehow. Its like no game i have seen before.

In this case what you find in the boxes is stolen property, as a policy troubleshooters can keep stolen property as an incentive, but only as long as they complete the mission successfully. This was made because they found too many troubleshooters just going into assignments to keep stolen shit and then bailed.

Theres a unique item called loot bag, it works this way. If you have it on a surviving squad member you get the content of every box, if you have already opened every box, then you get one extra piece of gear.

Game feels fine, but it has completely freezed on me on couple occasions.
At least I haven't lost turns or saves yet.

Loot doesn't seem to become such tedious chore as I was afraid of.
Probably because items are presented as textual list, not as indescribable futuristic gizmos on grid inventory that nearly broke me when playing Deep Sky Derelicts or Stellar Tactics.

This game sounds amazing and I can't wait to play it. If you had to guess, what are the influences behind this thing? How did some unknowns come along and produce something that sounds like it blows established tactics games out of the water??

BTW I am so poor I'm contemplating joining BLM so I can loot a TV and sell it to afford this game. Naw homie I'm just too busy wit Fell Seal, Mechanicus and sheeeit.

Asian games have been blowing western games out of the water in every single category for the last 20 years.
The only surprise is that Koreans made the game and not some jap porn studio.
