Oof hit a nerve there huh
To be honest the art style is a lot less infantile than some of the slop that comes outta the West.

Troubleshooter is the Korean equivalent of shonen, a game for tween and teenage boys.

Haven't played this since forever. Forgot how to see what missions I have already completed?

It has more systems and more complex systems than most RPGs I have ever played. If you're speaking aesthetically, then yes, it is cancer.

Missions you have played should be blue.

Aren't all Ordinary Missions Blue? For example, the construction site gets an ordinary mission once you complete its story mission - and then it's blue. The park is blue from the start.

Teenage boys are also into this wargaming stuff.

Also someone like me was able to complete the base game on the not-really-easy-at-all Easy. :M

If I remember correctly, the situation is the following. If you played a mission, its name (letters) is white. If this is a new mission, its name is yellow.

Classic Roguey-ism (responding with a point unrelated to the actual discussion when challenged):

- Difficulty and system complexity are obviously quite unrelated. Many complex games are obviously much, much easier than complex games.

- Even if you had a point, Troubleshooter is *famously easy* even on its harder difficulties because you usually outscale enemies very hard. That's the reason the team added the additional settings which directly address said outscaling (and which mitigate, but do not completely solve, this issue).

I've played a good number of easy RPGs and this isn't one of them.

Bragging about completing a game on Easy and implying that that somehow proves a lack of grown-up gameplay is ... what's the word I'm looking for?

I'm saying it's a game for teenagers, not that it excludes adults (though the writing and art style can do that).

There’s nothing wrong with enjoying childish things. Troubleshooter’s aesthetics aren’t bad because they’re childish, they’re just absolutely embarrasing trash for mentally challenged manchildren.

Imagine comparing the sort of fairy tales C.S. Lewis was enjoying to Heixing Alley and a pinkhaired loli with a chainsaw, lol. Like saying Ludo is a great game because people play chess as well.

The game isn't aimed at teenagers, it's aimed at Koreans.

And complaining about bare chested guy, and pink hair chainsaw girl is like complaining about water being wet. And no, their design don't really appeal to me, but I also know what I am getting myself into.

Jesus Christ, I expect more from the two of you.

Edit: It is fine to complain about character designs, btw.
