> Body types instead of genders
> Spells scaling with weapons

Hard pass, uninstalled, rather play DDO.
It's a Gook Grinder, what did you expect?

Less than a month of playing this and I'm already burned out. Made almost $300 so it's not bad, I get to upgrade my PC. But this game is just tiring to play, as in physically tiring. Maybe I'm just getting old but the keyboard-mashing combat's just not for me anymore. 2 action bars minimum. Buffs last 9 seconds. One heal has to be pressed every 5. I picked a low APM class and it still feels like piano when playing. Are all MMOs like this now?

It's strangebecause you are supposed to play these games for hours. A dungeon/raid 2-3hrs.

Why do they copy MOBA gameplay that's supposed to be played for 20-45mins a match?

because they have no idea, games haven't been made by gamers for two decades.
Yep games per committee are terrible. Looking forward to Ashes of Creation which has (a terrible name but) at least a EverQuest dude with a coherent vision in charge of it

I lasted about 7 hours in this game. The leveling was too boring, got to lvl 23 and the one dungeon I unlocked was zerged through by the team who obliterated everything so I did nothing but spectate, basically. The perfect parry thing is actually kinda neat but not enough to differentiate between this and other games. Everything else I "know" is because I read about it and from what I gathered this is a korean grinder where you log in for your job - do your dungeons, dailies then zerg in PvP. It was the potential for the large scale PvP that got my attention first but I just couldn't make it there. I'm also no longer in the age and mindset to join a guild and super tryhard and dedicate whole nights to sieges, either, so even while I was downloading the game I was second guessing even attempting to play it.

I was also told that it's better to make an alt for new weapons, so after trying GS and SnS on a my first toon I decided to try Staff/Wand. It was then I realized that despite all the sliders female chars can't actually have huge boobs, which is bizarre for a Korean game. Then I realized, Amazon, of course. That explained the body types instead of sex selection. And that was the straw that broke the camel's back, I don't have the patience for this shit anymore.

The only thing this game did was make me log in to GW2 and Black Desert to give them a shot again.

I tried playing for a few hours but gave up.
Just didn't like it much. Biggest problem I had from beginning was the combat, something about it I just didn't like, not sure why other people like lazypeon liked it, it just didn't mesh well with me. Maybe like flushfire said, too much button presses for stupid shit and the constant synergy between abilities you have to memorise after you use a ability. It makes the combat feel very linear even though it looks very free-form from the outside.

I also didn't like the shape shifting, I think was a bit too clunky? I saw some upgrades for it to increase speed even more, so maybe later on it would become fine.
