My guess (in this order):
- Money (obvious)
- Age (as years pass many people become more and more cynical)
- Wanting to make "bigger" projects
- He was never that strongly anti-woke as some people made him (just annoyed that wokeists wanted to interfere in his creative vision of 1st game but not because of political/ideological reasons but personal/autistic. That's my theory)
- Jew-ishness (possibly, hard to say, hard to know how important if at all)
