I picked up Divinity II: DKS as well. Now I am just afraid of that dragon shit part people keep saying was shit. Though I believe that's not for a while...

Can anyone else back this up? Because I'm definitely gonna try the game again if this is the case.Admiral jimbob said:Mangoose said:Divinity 2 is great if you want to be forced to kill everything in an area before moving on, because no tactics will let you overcome an enemy higher level than you.
Also something they changed in DKS. Too much, according to some, but it suits me.
Worth noting that Majesty 1 is still the better game. The sequel isn't entirely terrible, especially if you're desperate for more, but 1's best.Metro said:Yeah, the DLC are just character skins. I'm on the fence on Majesty Gold... the graphics whore in me is saying wait until they finally release the two other expansions to Steam for Majesty 2 and sell that in a pack.

DamnedRegistrations said:From what I've seen of Divinity 2, the XP you get from killing enemies scales based on the level difference. So you can catch up your level quickly by struggling through some difficult fights. But you'll have to use potions/ranged combat to pull that off I'd imagine, there's no way to melee without getting hit back.
Most of my xp thus far has come from quests though, even though my level is pretty low since I mindread everyone I encounter.
Thanks guys, I'll try the game again. I played Div2 right when it came out with the English patch, before it was even translated. So it's entirely possible that things have changed for the better.Skyway said:Never had this problem with DKS. You can even go to bosses right away in flying fortresses. Anti-dragon shields were removed there too so you can go armour-set hunting at any time you wish.
