Stanley Woo out.
Fat Fuck Priestly out.
Hamburger Hepler out.
Casey Hudson out.

You're next David Gayder.

Have any of those folk done anything (or started anything substanstial) since leaving?

Not much.

And its kind of hilarious who Casey Hudson is compared to because of one thing (MEIII ending)

Not that hes been stellar. But, he was one of the people left at Bioware who understood more than one thing in game development (generalist). Bioware isn't gonna be any better off with him out.

It's not like Weekes is some flawless savior either.

I heard Hudson got embroiled with hubris and consequently too emotionally (no pun intended) attached to his projects. He would seem ignorant to criticism. Typical case of director-wannabe's losing sight of what makes games good, or what games are all about in the first place.

Not that this will revert Bioware suddenly into it's old glory because....

Even with Gaider gone it wouldn't. Who's your magical savior?

And how to revert to old Bioware if old Bioware is as good as gone?

That game was retarded even with hamburger hepler as a stretch goal.

The Sci-Fi spaghetti hands concept was bullshit and the game looked like crap.

Not to mention that this unknown new studio literally thought they could at least 500K for it.

Yeah it's not the amount of total funding, but the trend of funding on particular dates.

So it actually means that her name brought in a big one time increase in pledges and then they were unable to keep the momentum going.

Casey managed to record one last video before he left. In the video, he describes his general mood at the time of the development and release of the Mass Effect games, from Mass Effect to Mass Effect 3.

That video gave me more emotions that all of Mass Effect.

Mainly pants-shitting terror, but still.

Or it was going up and then people saw she was involved and they avoided it like the plague.
My guess is that they just exhausted the pool of potential players on the first couple of days, so after the early rush the funding wasn't going anywhere. Having Hepler's name on the project probably brought them enough attention that everyone that might have been interested would have known about the game soon after it started.

Which moocow is Hepler anyway? I can't remember, but is she the one that looked oddly like a man-woman? Not one way or the other strongly, but utterly unattractive and unappealing?
