When I looked at what was released in 2024, and went through the list. I compiled list of worst games in 2024. I was like, but this was REALLY bad, but surely it wasn't worst game in 2024. And well. There were horrible nasty games like Total War Pharaoh. or Stormgate, or Sovereign Syndicate, or Dragon Age: The Veilguard.

V Rising was decent game about creating a manor and decorating it.
Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth was decent game, it was turn based RPG, but I didn't like story especially ending, thus I will not nominate it for GOTY. (But despite its flaws it was better than Dragon Age: Veilguard.)

I answered the question. V Rising. See? You got the answer already. I might add some strategy game if I recall which strategy I liked was released in 2024. But Manor Lords is EARLY ACCESS. And Factorio expansion was only expansion.

Frankly they released some REALLY BAD games in 2024. Even big HoI4 DLC was like... Well they added flying aircraft carriers, and artillery with 200 km range, and one of most dumb research system I seen in games in last 30+ years. It's not like they just try to cheat you of your money. They are trying to make players dumber.
