I don't think spacing's been much of a problem so far. But hey sure, go ahead and make smaller versions of the bigger smilies if you're so inclined. I'm just not sure they're going to look as good. I mean, it's not easy to beat this:

you're right. I'm not suggesting to re-place all emotes. the smug and incline emotes are fine as they are, IMO.
the size obviously adds a lot of detail, but I made a quick pass just for fun.

borders are easily changed. they can be more transparent, stronger, or a mix (making them look more pixelarty). this would be an example of mixed border:

It wasnt, made for a very shocking and somewhat believable joker. I still like the animated series version of the joker better, but ledger was perfect for the role in that movie.
