So is it better then DA2 :D?

Sigh. Hard to say. I'm more interested in the 'gameplay' than writing and as far as I can remember DA2 gameplay 'works' although it's repetitive.
DA3 'gameplay' is badly implemented and after 15 minutes trekking in a beautiful looking valley, I was left feeling rather empty and bored. At least Skyrim had a better overall quality in their sandbox.

I also tried a round of Co-Op MP on Archer.
God that was horrible. The feeling of shit mobility is just too much. The auto-soft lock targeting and repeated fire drove me away.
I logged on to ME3 Co-Op and had a much better experience. Even way back in 2013's beta.

I know russian so I can translate. "Левый" ("lefty" from google translate) is some kind of phraseme - means in this sentence:"Source of information - post on some <I can't give the exact source or I don't remember or I don't know> forum about cracked games/software"
"Левый" (literally: the left one) means 'shifty' in this context.
Right word too.
thank you both I didn't know that meaning yet :salute:

And the only guy who's actually doing some kind of LP here is a fucking troll, slapping some shitty music in his videos and shitting all over the game, without even trying...
Wow, respect RK's process you fucking bigot. He is a minority, ya know?

I still don't get what you're talking about with the fade demon fight being good, even if just for a tutorial. So far all I've seen is awful play smashing the fight (joe almost won on nightmare, and potion use would have secured it) due to being carried by default AI tactics. Low/no effort in dodging blatantly telegraphed attacks, no mass switching to adds to kill/disable as they appear (I guess the AI tank is just picking them up and the other party members take care of them?) and letting the rift that needs clicking for them to damage him hang around while they waste time doing shit damage on the demon (I'd say for whatever difficulty RK is playing, that this last one would be all the player really needs to do, 3 AI members would handle the rest).

*reads the last 15 pages*

So... 15 pages of SJW Worst Thread Ever-ish debate and next to no people discussing why and how the game sucks. This mega-thread thing is really doing wonders huh
Alright, my IMHO xD :
............Good......................................................Bad:
  • Epic storyline..........................................which is not very original (judging by beginning and expectations) and was seen before many times (haven't completed the game yet but I know it).
  • Graphics, fair optimized...........................low fps and some elements like hair and "wet" faces. Awaiting patches.
  • Characters..............................................really bad animations sometimes. Mage attacks straight from DA2 - looks like they used old mo-cap.
  • Dialogue system......................................without any changes for many years.
  • ...............................................................I don't like the Interface at all - console-oriented and ugly small portraits.
  • ...............................................................IMHO: completely casual and lazy skill points system.
  • Locations design......................................but corridor system lives.
  • ...............................................................Low connection with DAO and DA2. That's EA's policy I understand but I don't like it.

Neutral: Another tactical system (comparing with DA2), strange controls (+No auto-attack), high mana regen rate.

Let's just start.
1. Half-assed actiony gameplay. Tactical interface has no KB with Mouse Combo in mind. This is just a tacked on feature. I'm still not comfortable at all with the controls.
Yeah, the whole tactical camera was done with either a joypad or keypboad in mind i am pretty sure. You don't want to use the mouse with it for much, which is kinda counter-intuitive.

Still, i am finding the combat much better now that i have a better handles on the keybinding shortcuts and so on in the tactical interface.

They need to fucking fix the zoom though.

Since they have a 24 hour return window I'm rolling the dice here on both my PC running it and the game being decent. Download going at 7MB a second so I guess Origin has improved over the years.

Though both sites do love them seriously but lie about it for 'cool points'; and to be 'edgy'.
No... not really volly. Wasnt even interested in this game, mostly following the thread because it provides entertainment,

That said, this games quality is on par with shovelware, only graphics are pwetty, but art, gameplay, writing, character systems, itemization, etc. They all suck.

"Ain't no 24 hour refund guarantees in Vegas, baby!"

Seriously though, why not try it with that shit in place. Unless it's awesome I'll return it. Maybe I'll play long enough to see some bewbs/sex and reach Bioware TruFan status.

Or they figured that the media echo from it will be good free PR.
They might still follow up with some censored version eventually.

They'll probably use it as part of the "we're too progressive" narrative when more negative coverage comes around.

Has anyone found a way to change the in game fonts to something more readable? A serif font, like in... DA2 or at least get rid of the caps lock?

Maybe. Might as well be only targeted at India itself, though - it gets talked about more and: whoo, it's forbidden, I must have it...

Don't know why so many complain about characters being not being attractive. I prefer a game were everyone doesn't look like models. Like Starcraft 1 kerrigan over SC2 sudden vapid model. If the complaint had been that their design was bad, sure, but now I see so much whining about their appearance. Is that really such a problem for you?
Starcraft (unlike DA:I) isn't a harem dating simulator with partial nudity, where you choose your waifu from amongst all of your bed partners.

Yet.

It cannot be stated enough: the personal beauty of your waifu is of critical importance in a dating simulator.

But what you say isn't true about the game. Despite how much the codex care about the romances.

But even if that were true, the Biowarians seems quite pleased about the characters.

They could be talking turds and biodrones would still be happy.

I'm getting tired with shoving Mordin and Wrex as well-written characters.

You forgot about Legion. And important thing about all this characters is that they all have a subplots that were more competently written, than main plot even hoped to be. Compared to, for example, Garrus, who could be an ok character, bu story never get him his own place, where he could establish himself and "shine", so he ended up as some guy who hand out with PC, but not without a hint of charisma.

Hold R to miss auto-attack is the new Press X to pay respects.

It's been a good two week run, CoD.

Played 30 minutes or so before it crashed when Origin tried to display an achievement. First thing to make clear to anyone thinking about playing this: THIS IS A CONTROLLER GAME. Like holy shit, it's not made for mouse and keyboard at all. AT ALL.

Game runs good on my ancient hardware though. GTX 480, Q9550 and 4GB of RAM and I am running on mostly high settings. Surprised.
